Saviors of Uldum Pre-Release Event With Content Creators – Theorycrafting Decks From New Expansion!

Saviors of Uldum launches on August 6, but you don’t have to wait that long to see some new decks in action! Blizzard has organized a special event, during which a handful of Hearthstone content creators will have access to a full new expansion ahead of time. They will be able to theorycraft new decks and play against each other. Obviously, it doesn’t mean that they will solve the meta, they will just be able to try out their (often wonky) ideas!

The event will start today (August 1) at 9 AM PDT (18:00 CEST) and run for at least few hours. There is no official channel for the event – each of the streamers will host it on their own Twitch.tv channel.

But if you miss any of the action, don’t worry, we’ll be adding all of the decks here (as well as the streamers/devs insights)! You might pick some of them and once the expansion drops for everyone, you will be able to jump right into action.

Pre-Release Theorycrafting Participants & Deck Lists

Here is a list of participants. You can watch the event live on their respective channels:

EDIT: As it appears, Kripparrian, Kibler, Dog and few other streamers also got access to the expansion now. I’ll try to add some decks from them too, but it’s getting really late for me so I’m not sure how long I’ll be able to keep up.

Theocrafting new decks is so much fun atm. I can think of so many many (new) decks. I have a good feeling this meta will be diverse.

So how does this exactly work? Because in 45 minutes Kripp and Kibler are on doing the same thing like in a second wave. They are not at Blizzard HQ though. Will this be also covered on this website?

Oh heck, Dog is also up… I didn’t really know that they will also be doing it. It’s already around midnight my time and I thought that I’ll be wrapping things up.

I will just post some more interesting theorycrafts from them too, I guess.

Worth noting: Alliestrasza’s deck was terrible. Even she admitted it was bad.

Most of those decks are terrible, though 🙂 They’re unoptimized, experimental theorycrafts. But that’s part of the fun! They might be an okay starting point once the set is out, but people will quickly start playing other stuff (or better versions of those).
