    Imagine playing this with +1/+1 and it saps your own minions

    It’s a very interesting and quite an Important one for Rouge. I especially love the flavour of this card, because you can really mess up the Mech Decks out there but as long as you pay attention against Battlecry minions or Zilliax, this card is Awesome for Rouge! 4 Stars.

    Decent stats with a situational ability. Pirate tag means you can combo it with Hooktusk, deathrattle gives it synergy with Necrium cards… but you’re not going to get both at the same time, a Deathrattle Pirates deck makes no sense. It’s not amazing, you’re not gonna build a deck around this gal, but it’s decent filler for decks that want pirates, and for decks that want Deathrattles. 3/5

    This is a great card to use with hooktusk. If you control the trades, it has great value.

    Well, Epics will be fun for rogue, The rare ones are just generic pain for rogue so i am used for it, we still have 1 common that i HOPE is another lackey generator, and the quest.

    Probably mostly an Arena card but could fit a generic Tempo Rogue archetype if there’s no dominant Rogue archetype specific to this set’s mechanics

    Lol keep the name like this sap on a stick.

    Anyway it has its flaws like opponent could choose what card gets kicked back. However this is a good card if pulled by the pirate legendary with rush.

    I think this card is good. The floor is a 4 mana 4-4 pirate, not great. But it’s not too hard to imagine playing this on turn 4 on an empty board and then messing up their development. However I also just imagined playing this on turn 4 vs warrior then they play Dyn o Matic and it bounces back.

      True, but I think we’re living in a world were we just accept that Rogue mostly loses to Warrior.

      Ps.- Imagine instead playing after T10 vs Warrior, and Warrior plays Omega Devastor to frag one target, rush into this guy to kill it + bring back to hand, play it a second time to frag another target, and then rush into another target to kill a total of 4 minions, plus probably leave a 4-attack minion on the board. 😛 That single card can now solo a Hooktusk turn.

        That is an awesome situation to imagine. But I have to put in a defense of my Rogue vs Warrior. When I play Pogo Bunny Rogue vs Warrior I feel like a bigger favorite than any other deck vs warrior. Also thief rogue that plays Tess and Togwoggle’s scheme on her can outlast Warrior as well.

          Oh it definitely can be won, it’s just statistically unlikely. Current stats on HsReplay:
          Hooktusk = 25.8% v Control, 33.8% v Bomb
          Pogo = 63.1% v Control, 44.6% v Bomb
          Tempo = 30.3% v Control, 34.5% v Bomb
          Thief = 39.5% v Control, 34.0% v Bomb

          I had an epic Thief v Control game the other week where I got Catrina off Face Collector, then schemed ~10 copies into my deck. Every turn that poor warrior would try so hard to wipe the board, and then I’d just drop another Catrina and start repopulating again. 🙂

            Never give me the odds! That sounds like a sweet game you had with unending Catrinas. I still choose to ignore the stats though because I never netdeck so my Pogo bunny deck isn’t the same as ones on the net. I have definitely lost to bomb warrior with bunnies before, but it always feels like it will be an easy win for me. It’s so sad they had to Hall of Fame Vanish before the bunnies rotated though. That was one of the best cards in the deck.

    What is this wording?

      Are you complaining, or honestly asking?

      In case of the latter: it’s like Sap, except its on a random enemy target and automatically when this minion dies.

    Guys it’s a deathrattle, not a battlecry. Meaning that your opponent can just attack their own 3 or 4 drop into it and bounce a lackey back to their hand.
    Sap doesn’t always see play in Rogue because, even if you can target something with it, your opponent may only be playing stuff that they don’t mind replaying because their minions are small or have battlecries.

    And unlike sap this can’t be targeted, your opponent can actually influence what gets bounced, and we are in a world were people don’t mind their lackeys and murlocs getting bounced, keep that in mind.

      We are also in a world where sap messes up magnetic mechs, mind you.

        So, you see this, you don’t magnetise but play it the normal way, or you use your magnetised minion to be the trading one to begin with, it takes 4 damage but you get a free copy of the first minion you had back if it lives, really it isn’t that bad.

    Better than amalgam in hooktusk decks at least, so may see play there.

    not shure about this. 4 mana 4/4 + Sap looks great, but as it is a deathrattle, you can easy play around it. for instance if you handle to get a lackey back, whith are first of all played for their battlecrys.
    but if deathrattle rouge becomes a thing, this might be an auto include.

    This is great. Would’ve been more fun as a maybe 5-6 cost and Taunt

    Man is this card good. It’s a 4 mana 4/4 with a 2 mana spell slapped on as deathrattle and a pirate. it’s going to be very awkward for the opponent to trade into this. In arena this will also be an amazing card, 4/5

      July 30, 2019 at 2:02 am

      This is a 2 stars card.
      the only good application will be to activate this with a weapon swing. but since it’s random sap it’s very situational.
      the card is very slow, random/situational and EZ to play around / silence.

        July 30, 2019 at 3:33 am

        I disagree. Rogue could use more 4-drops like this. The card is big anti-tempo for the opponent and sap is extremely powerful thing to have right now as it messes up magnetized mechs and other big threats. Yes it’s a deathrattle and hence slow but you can indeed trigger it with other ways like necrium blade which you can set up on turn 3. The card sucks against aggro but that can be said about 90% of Rogue cards lol

        And really? Silence counters this? That applies to every single deathrattle card in Hearthstone and if they need to silence this doesn’t it only mean that this is powerful? 😀 Yes you can play around it but that’s what I mean by “trading is awkward”, it troubles the opponent alot. I can maybe see this being a 3 card but it’s also a pirate, that’s what makes it 4 star on my book.

          Well you place too much specifics into the table, sure, i will experiment the heck out of her because pirate, but as a Rogue player, this is just a maybe card at best in a lot of ACTUAL scenarios, would be heavy dependant on what this new meta turns out, but your optimism hurts.

          Also, Tempo was lacking decent 1 cost cards to make the 3 mana combos work if coin didn’t allow you to get the so desired lackeys.
