Hopefully Warlock card downsides like this will follow the “after this minion does thing THEN deal dmg” theme, alot of the old ones with the damage being immediate effects werent worth the chance of them dying before you could utilize them imo.
3 Mana yeti is pretty nice, but maybe the downside is too high. Warlock has lots of cards that benefit from Self Damage though so this could see play in a self damage warlock with Deathweb Spider, Duskbat, Vulture, etc. It would be a slower, more midrange deck then Zoo, and maybe worse. Honestly very difficult to evaluate.
3 mana yeti
I’m honestly comfortable with this. Just think of it as Flame Imp’s Bigger Brother. The only downside is that It can’t really survive for too long, but because you’re just going to average attack at least once or twice, this feels more like a soft taunt minion from the pressure you have out. 4 Stars.
Only going to see play in a culture zoo deck far as I can figure.
Synergizes with the new Vulture quite well, but definitely feels like Warlock doesn’t have enough healing to make a midrange-self-damage thing work.
