Top Standard & Wild Legend Decks – Darkmoon Faire Week 2 – November 2020

It’s time! Here’s our first weekly Legend decks compilation from Darkmoon Faire. The last few weeks were really busy, more than the usual release, mostly because of the whole progression update, Duels release etc. I already wrote a long post about progression system so I won’t repeat myself, but the long story short is that the community is on fire, and I get that. I can’t say that it’s not discouraging, reading so much negativity about the game every day, but that’s the best way to make a change. I’m happy that our readers have mostly been level-headed and don’t lash out on us for simply covering the game. With that out of the way, let’s get into the decks compilation.

Since it’s the 2nd week of the expansion, we obviously had A LOT of builds posted – around 60 different decks between Standard & Wild. As for the meta, it’s honestly still too early to tell how exactly it will look like. We have more or less a good idea which decks are the strongest – Aggro Demon Hunter, Soul Demon Hunter, Pure Paladin, Highlander / Face Hunter, Control Warrior (different variants, but mostly the one with ETC OTK finisher), Evolve Shaman… That’s the most likely T1-T2 line-up, with maybe few more decks also landing in Tier 2 (Miracle Rogue, Totem Shaman, maybe Zoo Warlock and Secret Mage).

I expect a balance update to drop pretty soon, because some builds are clearly too strong, and we’re already used to balance updates pretty close to the release. However,

Below, you will find a full list of the Legend decks from last week, sorted by the highest placement.

I play quest, new thun, both yogga mage in wild in ranked, and most of the time I win with it, but what I like is that it’s always so close to the opponent, the whole deck is about last minute saves/wins and a bit of rng. Think it’s the funniest deck I have played this far.

I am amazed to not see an Odd Paladin in the list. The ladder is flooded with them.

Actually, there’s one on the list. But keep in mind that sometimes when a deck is flooding the ladder, you won’t see it THAT much on our site for a simple reason – players don’t always want to share FOTM builds online, and I can only showcase deck lists that people share online 🙂
