    If you are running mostly deathrattles in some kind of N'Zoth deck, then this can be insane. Keep in mind that it is a copy, so you could get an extra Tortollan Shellraiser or Cairne Bloodhoof. Probably won't be good enough to see play, but hey, 2x Radiant Elemental into 2x Shadow Essence into double Velen into 2x Mind Blast will be the meme I wish to achieve.

        The randomness is not the problem. The problem is how many random shit hearthstone is launching in ONE expansion. I agree that random effects are part of the game but you need more balance between the mechanics or it will turn into something like coin flipping.

    So a 6 mana 5/5 minion, stats wise is not the best, you need to play this in a non battlecries stuff deck.

    It also triggers medivh's weapon, which is nice.

    Nerfs lyra in some cases.

    this has synergy in a whole new archetype with the 4 mana choose ressurrect and 9 drop obsidian statue. I think the high rolls are deathrattle cards in a n'zoth build and and a 5/5 radian or cleric is ok, but 3 drops are crap. I wouldn't play the priest death knight in such a build - only with kazakus and raza.

    Theoretically you play this in N'Zoth/Quest Priest. In reality, it's probably just bad.

    Wth with blizzard bringing so much op cards they are dont how to balance any more . Look at this cards for an example 5/5 (good stats) with a posiblity of a minion with a strong effect like ragranos giant sand . any card for just six mana i mean i can balance cards batter than does and i dont know how to balance

      This card has so much value especially in quest priest and wild.
      I really want to summon a 5/5 confessor paletress.

    OTK Priest is real, we can use 2 options in one deck. Combo: 1x Elemental + 1x Shadow Essence+ 2x Mind blast + 2x Holy Smite = win. If Malugos was drawing early then Shadow Essence or all your combo, we can use Eternal Servitude.

    Basically just same value as barnes but 2 more mana. Eh. Maybe combo priest will work.

        barnes is 3/4 plus 1/1 which is a 4/5. one stat off. big deal. the 5/5 doesn't matter for combos anyway.

          Some cards matter being bigger like cards with lifesteal, taunt or effects like acolyte.

    I was hoping the last Priest card would be something like "Give your hero power Lifesteal", but instead we get more useless RNG crap.

      not useless at all.. you just have to build the right deck.. have only barnes, velen, lyra and Y'Shaarj and obsidian statue in the deck.. basically everything you hit is a big hit.

    So much potential here. I keep seeing everyone say it's nothing but an expensive Barnes. To me this is a direct Barnes replacement and upgrade. Barnes on turn 4 does nothing but summon a 1/1 of a good card so that it can die easily. This 5/5 variant has a lot better odds of sticking and you can have 2 in the deck. This will be great for quest priest but not game changing. Unless there is a few real good deathrattle minions not released yet, quest priest will remain a dream.

    You can create a really fun deck, just add Malygos, Obsidian Statue, Prophet Velen, Y'Shaarj, Ysera, Cairne, and in wild you can even add Sylvanas and Ragnaros. Add cards like Eternal Servitude. For the rest you should add some low cost spells. Really fun! I am definitly gonna build a deck around this card.

    I like this card and the other priest card they released, even if most of them as the same old boring style. The only difference is that you have different card with same effect => you can make strong RAZA/RENO/QUEST soup decks that are good.

    This card will be played in that type of deck and will do good there.
