Simply a good card, serviceable in early game, even better later when combining it with big spells.

Necessary card with those 2 legendaries that means mage will run more spell damage boost.

Man, at first I thought this was a Neutral card, which would’ve been actually pretty decent with Arcane Watcher.

But Mage? Why, just why… Such a waste of a good card.

I doubt this will see any play in any decks asides from Highlander, unless Mage somehow gets around 2 cheap burn spells this expansion.

Lucilky only for mage otherwise it would have been a nightmare. It’s a very solid card. Not broken and not weak at all.

They’ve already got a few cheap burn spells.
Anyone who plays mage a lot is pleased af about this card.

Cheap burn spells… for mage? Like what?

I’m pretty sure there’s only Arcane Missiles and Frostbolt right now. I don’t really think that’s enough support to allow a burn Mage to take off.

Dear lord Mage really needed a one drop, and this is a good one drop. Now you can kill 3 health minions with Ray of Frost or Arcane Breath without having to HP. There are also enough turns where you would otherwise float a mana but can use this to help wipe an enemy board, like Rolling Fireball on T6. I would put this in Highlander Mage fo sho.

There’s a lot of Spell Damage synergies from RoS that weren’t good enough at the time, you can try it with this but idk if Mage has enough cheap burst to make it work.

Imagine a 3 dmg blizzard for 7 mana or a 5dmg flame strike for 8 mana. Doesn’t need cheap spells either to work. Very flexible card as it costs 1 mana.

any Aoe is so much better with this card. With 1 Mana even a 2 Mana Basic Mage Aoe spell is finally usefull. Or this plus Zephrys. The stats are solid anyway.

Now we are talking. Will probably get nerfed like every single decent mage card but will at least have some fun with it for a while. Solid

If they print a 1 mana 1/3, it will be played. This is definitely not an exception to that rule.

It is a strong 1-Drop for Tempo Mage, but I can’t see Tempo Mage being a thing. If it is not drawn on Turn 1, it is usually a dead card since Spell Damage rarely has a use. Sure, it can give Rolling Fireball 1 extra damage, but this isnt worth a slot in your deck. 2 Stars.

I’m not, I just think it wont see play. The 1/1 that gives you Arcane missiles isnt played either and I think it is a lot better than this one.

I think you are underestimating how strong +1 damage in spells really could be. And for 1 mana. And on a 1/3 body. This opens up multiple possibilities and plays for the card as it is sticky on the board. Can be played in highlander discovered in no minion mage or some kind of cheap mage archetype. Solid card at least 4 stars. Just because a card isn’t game changing doesen’t mean it’s bad.

Every mage deck (except spell) will run this.
And it makes cyclone mage viable again.
            It’s a 5/5 card.

Eeeeeeeh… okay. Yeah. But I feel like this is meant for that “Cinderstorm / Arcane Missiles” type of Tempo Mage though, in my opinion. They usually want to hit face, and freeze your minions, and whenever they have a hand full of cheap spells, they go crazy with 2 Sorceror’s APprentice and now maybe even a researcher; they start going ham up until it’s 2 mana left and then that play Mana Cyclone.

Arcane Explosions have suddenly gotten a lot scarier for some reason.

Now in terms of Ras, I still feel like the majority of Mages wouldn’t really card, but Tempo might start considering. a 1 mana 1/3 had been proven enough to care; so as long as they have a bunch of drawing cards, I think Tempo Mage could be legit.

3 Stars for now, but 4 Stars if it works.

With a few duplication spells you can play a malygos for 5 mana 🙂

Eh I don’t know.. It’s a well statted one drop with a relatively weak keyword on its own. While this is a step to the right direction, this won’t be enough to be used with Raz. As for some kind of tempo mage that spams spells to kill the opponent, it’s nice fit.

5/5 auto include. Will run 2 copies in non-highlander decks to support Raz.
