5/5stars 7 damage in one turn for 6 mana and a 3/5 body.

Gah Hunter doesn’t need this and since it’s a mech it can be magnetized so you could say put the poisonous on it and then bam instant kills any minion it hits or still 7 dmg to face with 5/7 stats if untouched. This will be a huge target that players want off the board. Hell if it lives a turn tag a zilliax onto it then that makes a do 5 dmg heal for 5 inspire with 2 dmg guaranteed to face.

This is more to do with Hearthstone trying to make Hunter into a more Control-Style Deck, but regardless, Mech Hunters can Rejoice for the next 4 month, because I can see this card being pretty Crazy, up until Both Zilliax and SN1P-SN4P are gone when April Arrives. What was once impossible to make Hunter a Control Deck is now finally possible. I’ve learned my Mistakes when I first saw Armorgadillo, and I thought that it was a Pathetic card. BOY, WAS I WRONG. so I think Hunters can rest assure that Dragonbane will be a nice card, or perhaps even a core card for many hunter decks in the future, especially since it’s a Mech. Even if SN1P-SN4P and Zillax are gone, Dragonbane will still be a very good card. And with that, I’m going to give it 5 stars.

I feel like this card is very weak and will not be enough to push Inspire hunter on its own. Based on the cards we have seen so far, I don’t think there’s a real reason to play Inspire hunter just yet, and this crap wont be. It’s just plain bad, with statistics not hard to remove on 1 turn and with an effect that is random and that can also go face without removing minions. Turn 4 it’s unplayable because it’s just a 4 mana 3/5, and turn 6 it’s a 6 mana 3/5 that deals 5 damage to a random enemy, which is maybe even worse. So yeah….

6mana 3/5 that deals 5dmg to a random enemy and deals 2 face

      bomb lobber was 5mana 3/3, similar to 6mana 3/5
      except this also deals 2face
and you have the option to play it on 4
and it can deal the 5dmg every turn
and it can go face which you can see as an upside because 7face dmg in hunter is great

you can also compare it to ragnaros
ragna = deal 8dmg to a random enemy
this does 5dmg to a random enemy and 2dmg face, total 7dmg
ragna has 3 more health but this costs 2 less mana, and can attack for 3, and you can curve it on 4

Bomb Lobber has never seen play, even if it wasn’t bad on itself. I would argue that Bomb Lobber is not that much worse than Dragonbane. The thing is that turn 4 Dragon Bane is just a 4 mana 3/5, which is bad, and then if you want to proc its effect you have to pay 2 mana every turn, and let’s remember that those 2 mana won’t be used on good tempo plays that would be better. On top of that, the 5 damage is random, and is not even restricted to minions: that means that if there’s only one 5/5 enemy minion and NOTHING else on board, there’s still a 50 percent chance that it doesn’t hit it.

bomb lobber was played in control warrior
and again, the ability to go face is not a downside
you’re playing hunter, face dmg = win

I have never seen bomb lobber being used, but if you’re sure about it, then that’s my bad. I think that the hunter decks who want to go face without caring about board control are not the ones we have right now, and anyway they would prefer something that does damage face for sure, not taking any chances, especially at turn 6 when aggro decks want to close out the game. That’s just my opinion, though, I could be completely wrong about the card. We are gonna see when the expansion comes out 🙂

What do you mean it deals 7 damage face if there’s no minions on board anyway that’s pretty insane plus its a mech

I really hope Inspire hunter doesn’t work. There’s no worse feeling than losing to a Hunter who just pushes button every turn.

Hunters are getting a lot of Hero power cards, targeting free secrets from deck and random kill commands, just pray for no double/reduced hero power wombo combo like coldarra drake/1 cost hero power.
