Can completely destroy enemy strategy just for 1 mana, especially when used against something like Zephrys or DH/Druid big spells.
It’s just a nice card, but I still don’t think that Secret Paladin will actually work. If only they can rework the Mana from 1 to 2 or something.I don’t know.
I’m very neutral with Secret Paladin. 3 Stars.
Never surrender, this and that 5 mana legendary that gives your dudes divine shield will mean that odd pala will be disgustingly sticky this expansion. This card is actually a bit too strong imo.
Very good mid/late game play especially against classes that run big spells like priest and warlock
I guess any Dude Paladin (which will surely be at least Tier 2) will run this card to prevent Holy Nova/Fan of Knives/etc. clears.

Everybody says its a worse counterspell, but for me this is better.
A- Cost 2 less mana
B- The spell casted can backfire your opponent, and if it doesnt, its like you will always get a better trade
Finally. Paladin has so few good secrets, but this is like a pseudo Counterspell for just 1 mana. Seems really fun and really good

Won’t wanna play this when you start on turn one…. unless you want to counter the coin, but then again there’s a lot of 0 costs spells that could turn on you like Lightning Bloom, preparation or embiggen but there’s also tons of shitty ones to. Either way still acts as a form of counter for paladin
Not that great vs card generating mages and rogues since they can just throw some random crappy spell at it, like when mage generates that crappy sidequest for elementals from wandmaker or whatever…. you can turn that into a “possible” good 1 cost spell again >:)
