Top Standard & Wild Legend Decks – Darkmoon Faire Week 15 – February 2021

Things are getting really exciting. A full Core Set was revealed, with quite a lot of surprises. Many of the cards I didn’t expect have made a comeback, and others that I thought will be gone are still here. Even some of the buffs might turn previously mediocre cards into something playable. I just can’t wait for Year of the Gryphon, which should be the biggest meta shift in the history of Hearthstone.

We didn’t see any new Forged of the Barrens cards yet, we don’t even know when the reveal schedule actually starts, but I expect that we’ll get more info about that next week. Hopefully, it will be soon – despite it being incredibly difficult for me (you know, having to be available at any time of the day, sometimes in the middle of the night, to upload a new card), it’s also very satisfying and I always love those.

As for the current meta… as you might have noticed, I have very little Standard deck lists, much less than usually. It’s because of a few things, honestly. Meta is getting stale given that the last bigger balance change was the introduction of Darkmoon Races mini-set over a month ago (yes, High Abbess Alura nerf impacted the meta too, but it just removed one deck from the equation without really adding new ones). On top of that, it’s been close to the end of the month and many pro players whose decks we often post were camping a high Legend rank to qualify for Masters Tour, while others were focusing on qualifier tournament for the same reason. Coincidentally, we should see way more decks today and over the next few days, as people post their final ranking when the season ends (today) and then their March Legend climbs. And after that, we’ll mostly focus on new card reveals anyway, so this week has been unfortunately dry, sorry about that.

Below, you will find a full list of the Legend decks from last week, sorted by the highest placement.
