I don’t know. I think people are overhyping this one. For standard, I mean.

Yes, in itself, the card is really good, but you have to consider the decks it goes in. Does Warrior really care about weapon damage? A bit, but not that much. In Warrior, I can only see it played alongside the Reaper’s Scythe atm. It’s a cheap activator for the spell burst that will cleave for 6 damage. Really cool. But not exactly busted. You still need 5 mana and two cards to achieve that.

And in Rogue, this obviously goes in aggro Stealth/Weapon decks. Alright, but those are tier 2/3 decks atm. Is this single card good enough to push this archetype close to tier 1? Huh, maybe, but I’m really not sure…

5 star card. Absurdly good in both classes especially since it enables cards that “care” about weapon attack such as Dread Corsair or Cutting Class/Steeldancer.

Also as others have stated Rogue in Wild is going to be really obnoxious.

Very powerful for both classes. It’s so good, you might even play Pirate Decks yet again.

Both Rouge and Warrior will love this, Warrior for their Weapon Synergy with Reaper’s Scythe, Essentially letting you take down 3 minions with 6 Health or Less, and Rouges because they are able to Synergize with the Self-Sharpening Sword.

With Warrior’s Spiked wheel, as long as you have armour, you can essentially make it a Turn 2 5/3 if you have the coin, or otherwise on turn 3. I really do think that both will love it equally, though I think that Warrior is just that bit more on the edge with Nitroboost Poison.

    4 Stars, Great Aggressive Spell.

Very good, deadly Poisson with a nice upside.
