Saved by being cheap. Neither class is known for their great turn 2s so a turn 2 “do nothing” isn’t as big of a deal. It’s versatile enough you either guarantee a board clear on turn 4 against aggro or explode a control deck after dropping 2 late game.
The question is whether or not slower shaman or mage decks can work well enough.

might be also good in shaman, but spell damage combos have better support in mage (mainly because of apprentice mana scams.) .

Cram synergy, and lines up perfectly for a turn 4 power spike. I like how you can plan a swing turn with dormants too, without worries about removal.
