Though this is a powerful card, there just isn’t enough 8 mana minions that Druid actually wants to play.

It has potential, just maybe not in this expansion just yet.

    3 Stars.

When you have 8 mana, you could play Omu and then follow it up with Solar Eclipse, refresh all your mana crystals, and cast this to gain 16 armor and summon two 8-drops. Not bad.

Hmmmmm… Is Ysiel Windsinger finally gonna be viable?

Look guys, they are adding tons of big spells so to buff Aviana 2: Same Card but with spells.

Moonglade Portal was arguably a better card and didn’t see play so I don’t see this seeing play either. It’s not something you feel bad about generating but an on average like 7/7 or something that gives 8 armor is incredibly slow and they can always just ignore whatever you summon.

Also, 10 mana combo of summoning two 8 drops isn’t worth running this card for since chances are you’d rather spend the eclipse on something else beforehand. I’d rather my cards be flexible and not be solely reliant on another card to be viable.

4/10 but expect to see a clip of someone pulling Octosari

People who rate this card bad are already forgetting the eclipse spells… Playing this twice giving you 16 armor and summoning two 8 cost minions is pretty damn powerful if you ask me.

4 stars. Big spells is exactly what Druid wants now.

Agree with you but eclipse beeing broken doesn’t mean that this spell is good. It seems just meh, 8 cost minions is very random. This card can’t be played alone.

Well this is a card game.. Cards have synergy and the better the synergy the better those cards are. The eclipse cards are not good unless there’s good cards to go with them and vice versa.

It’s not an excellent spell. It’s not a terrible spell. It’s somewhere in between. If we imagine an average 8 mana pick such as Ironbark Protector, it’s fine, but not broken since you wouldn’t want to run Ironbark Protector in your deck and there are also bad options that have Battlecry as their major upside in the 8-mana pool. 8 armor is good, but will it make the difference? We will see. 3/5

Well, if Ironbark Protector also gave you 8 Armor I guarantee you he’d be played. But the problem is that the average 8-drop it’s like 7/7, maybe better maybe worse

Solar eclipse + this can be powerful and druid can cast this on turn 5
