Top Standard & Wild Legend Decks – Forged in the Barrens Week 9 – May 2021

Finally! Wailing Caverns, the long-awaited mini-set, is almost here. We’ve already learned a couple of cards, and it will launch next week – on June 3. You can learn everything we know about it so far from our guide.

I’m really glad that we’re seeing some release. While we had a patch just over 2 weeks ago, it didn’t impact the meta nearly enough, so we’re basically playing the same early meta from after the first balance update, maybe with a couple of changes (e.g. N’Zoth decks are now more popular thanks to the card getting buffed to 9 mana). All in all, I liked the meta quite a lot, I found many of the viable builds fun, but that’s just how it is in Hearthstone – after you play the same meta for over a month, it really starts getting tedious.

So without further ado, let’s jump to this week’s decks. A little less than usual, because I’ve skipped on the X-th version of Paladin or something and tried to pick a bit more interesting ones (there are some cool builds in there). If you still wanted to test something, you should consider doing it now, since the meta might change completely (hopefully) once the patch launches. See you on Tuesday when more cards will get revealed!

Below, you will find a full list of the Legend decks from last week, sorted by the highest placement.

Some very interesting decks in this list, I may have to try out that OTK rogue deck sometime.
