You forget that the spell has to be of the nature type to earn the +3 bonus, that is, a garbage card !!

Considering Doomhammer Shaman looks like it’s only losing Lava Burst, I can see slotting this card in as a replacement. It trades mana efficiency for a 5/4 body, and you can pair this with the 2/3 Spellburst minion to throw 12 damage from Lightning Bolt at your opponent’s face on turn 8.
I think this makes lists; +3 Spell Damage on an aggressively statted body is not bad for 5 mana.
Ehhhh, I’m not really feeling the hype. Shaman’s burn spells are all pretty trash to be honest with the exception of maybe Lightning Bolt. Unless they put out like 2 new decent burn spells for shaman I’m afraid this’ll fall short.
Even if burn shaman becomes a thing though, I’d argue Imprisoned Phoenix is better than this 75% of the time anyways.
…and I’d argue that you’d run both.
Without knowing of the classic set, there is no way to tell if this minion is good or not. I’m going to just throw a hail mary and say 4 stars.
Now, since Blizzard have changed and Reworked Spell Damage for how it can work out to be, we’ll just have to experiment with what have. With that being Said, having +3 Spell Damage is TERRIFYING, and defentially something of a soft taunt of a minion to try and get rid off. 5 Srars for the Stats and Spell Damag it pulls off. Going all the way to +3. Not even +2.

Assuming lightning bolt sticks around and is nature based shaman can fling a lot of damage face with this and the imprisoned phoenix.
At most, this card can have synergies from like 3 Nature Spell cards.
I don’t know, it can be added more with miniset and next expansion.
But I doubt it’s significant enough to be included in the first expansion where synergies is low.
2/10 for now.
