United in Stormwind expansion was announced last week, but it will still take ~3 more weeks until it’s released. That will be the biggest meta changer, obviously, but not the only one. Devs have surprised us and announced a balance update for next Thursday (July 15). It won’t be a big patch – only 3 cards will get changed (Druid and Priest will be targeted – I already posted some predictions here), but if they’re the right cards, it can make quite a splash. Even if only for a week or so, it’s so close to the next set that even a small shakeup is appreciated.
Card reveal season of United in Stormwind begins on July 20, so for a week I’ll be mostly focusing on adding new cards instead of decks. Still, unless the upcoming balance changes will turn out to be way more impactful than I suspect, current decks should easily carry you until the next expansion.
