Top Standard & Wild Legend Decks – Into the Emerald Dream (Week 3) – April 2025

This is our first Top Legend decks roundup for Into the Emerald Dream. Normally I post one at the end of Week 2, but we got a pretty unexpected patch timing – it released on Friday, so I didn’t have enough decks to share by Sunday.

This expansion’s release is also kinda unique, because we rarely see big meta developments happening a few weeks into the set. The early expansion meta was mostly constructed around Armor Starship Demon Hunter. People had to adapt and play decks that are strong against it, or else they would just be OTK’d. Many strategies simply didn’t work because you had no way to play against DH. Additionally, old StarCraft cards still dominated the meta quite heavily – most of the strongest builds still featured Zerg. Because of those

Luckily, the balance update solved both of those problems. Armor DH is now unplayable and StarCraft decks are still there, but they are much more in line with other builds. Because of that, the patch felt like a soft set re-launch – many decks that were held back during the early days finally got their time to shine. So during the last week, we had a few new decks pop up and play/win rates were changing nearly daily. Right now the meta changes seem to be slowing down, but it doesn’t mean that they’re over. Just a single new deck might upset the balance and turn everything upside-down.

Talking about all the recent meta developments in details would take ages, so instead I’m going to link you to Old Guardian’s article from yesterday – he gives a detailed rundown of everything that’s been happening lately. You can check it out here.

As for what’s next – we can expect Patch 32.2 in a couple of weeks. Normally X.2 patches are Battlegrounds-focused, but this time we’re also getting a mini-set in that patch cycle. I don’t know when it launches exactly (whether it will be at the same time as the BG season or later), but we should hear more about it relatively soon.

Below is a full list of the Legend decks from last week, sorted by the highest placement.
