This sales with Spell Damage?? I see a los of burn potencial!

Most priest decks will never play this if they can play The Light! It Burns! instead, but I guess Benedictus exists. Even if those decks are good enough to be worth playing, I'm not sure if there is room for this card in them.

These cards have two completely different purposes. This isn't a card for a control deck, it's a card for an aggro deck and it's there 100% for the face damage, the minion damage is just a nice bonus.

It also does a turn 2 or 3 OTK in wild, but I'm sure they'll fix that very quickly.

The condition can be hard to trigger, and priest does not have many other burn cards (only Void Shard, which is lackluster to say the least). Its interaction with the priest weapon also leaves something to be desired. I think it would actually be good if it dealt 3 to minion and 2 to face, that way you could at least kill your own deathrattles to set up Animate Dead. I think these small problems add up to a lackluster card.

I don't think it is even good enough for wild burn priests, because they like Embrace the Shadow with targeted holy spells, meaning they're not even running Benedictus, but I don't really play wild so I could be even more wrong here.

Priest has an amazing burn card, the new undead card coming out in this miniset. Like I said, this card is meant to go in an aggro deck. You don't need 30 burn when you 're doing 25 through minion damage. You just need the last bit to get over the hump if your board gets cleared. This new spell is a great aggro card and if some kind of aggro undead priest becomes meta (which it looks like it will), this will definitely be part of it. And it's much better the way it is than the other way around, which wouldn't represent nearly enough damage to the opponent's face.
