Dont see this actually being useful. You pay mana for the same effect on both decks. 2 stars
Seems fine, will see play with tickitus. Being able to burn up to 16 cards, now. 5 Stars.
You usually don’t care if your cards burn, so long as your burning your opponents more.
I’d expect them to add a way to recover your burned cards or something.
You need to tutor or hard mulligan for the win conditions to make this work… A bit risky most of the time.
I reckon the new Core 5-drop that tutors your highest-cost card could be important for this sort of deck, and running an extensive Soul package should reduce to chance of milling the wrong cards.
Although the flipside would be that such a package would make it harder to empty your deck, so we may see to what extent it would be worthwhile.
Yep Soul package makes sense a lot to reduce the burned cards, idk if this will be enough.
If you are going to play combo now days you need to have back ups or quick way to get your essential cards into hand.
However even if this dose seem play I don’t think anyone even in wild wants to play it on one mana. But on around 5-7 mana it might be time if you pulled your good cards from the deck. It is possible, but most will probably just play this for fun. Too see if the opponent auto concedes.
I still think the problem with this deck is going to be burning your payoff cards too often
F*ck this card, and F*uck tickatus warlock.
Judging by how hard it was to get everything you wanted into Tickatus Warlock, I dont think there is room for this card unless the Meta is slow enough or you want to burn specific parts (Like against OTK decks). However, I love the concept! Burning and Stealing your opponents stuff is the best!
Oh boy, even Priest gonna envy the hate Warlock gonna get. Seriously, burning 3 cards with 1 mana twice is awful while corrupting Tickatus along the way.
I just hope that it doesn’t work like drawing cards, and goes over fatique.
You can never ever realisticaly hope for playing both copies and still drawing (and corrupting) Tickatus.
I think this card is overrated – it doesn’t really work with the ‘your deck needs to be empty’ cards because you can’t play it before drawing those cards, which makes them MORE dead cards in hand until your deck is actually empty.
Only exception will be if there are tons of ‘mill’ cards AND tons of Nomi-like effects after you’ve milled yourself.
On the other hand, pure aggro decks might play this against control (Pokelt, to be specific).
Still 70+ cards to be revealed. If Warlock getting empty deck support like the newest Legend, I believe there are more cards with synergies to burn deck. (Miniset too).
True, but as I wrote it isn’t like with conventional strategies where some pieces come together … if there aren’t 6+ Nomi-like cards you literally can’t play this strategy because if you mill your win cons, you’re double-screwed.
The more I think of it, the less I believe in such a strategy being playable ever…
At least you can now find a use for UNcorrupted Tickatus. 😉
Do not like, deck destroying Warlock going to be as annoying as hell.
Agreed. This deck is going to be THE WORST! Hard aggro is the only counter?
I don’t honestly see it being viable with just the cards we’ve seen so far. It realistically still needs another wincon imo, and possibly more even than that.
