idk I’m kinda down on Wildseeds bc Dormant minions always seem better on paper than in practice. That said, this card makes them like a little bit better? You have to keep in mind that if this doesn’t hit the rush minion, you’re spending 3 mana to do nothing for a turn.

I think the power level of the Wildseed cards is gonna boil down to how easily you can fit them into Beast Hunter. I think the Taunt seed minion is absolute dog water, and waiting 2-3 turns for the Stag is a really long time. Yes, the weapon plus the body is amazing, but also the dormant 3 is really REALLY bad. I also think these cards mess with the Revive Pet pool enough to make them not necessarily worth it.

Maybe you slot out the Naga package and you put in this stuff, but I really dunno. Hot take but I think they’re just kinda meh.

After seeing the newest legendary, I actually think this is pretty strong. It IS a card that you will want to hold until you have some seeds down already though I think. Don’t think it’s often right to rip this on turn 3.

The only problem with Wildseed stuff is that it’s all really low initial tempo, and I do worry that could just get you blown out of the game by a more aggressive deck; BUT, if it’s a simple 7 card package in a decent deck, maybe it’s actually just enough synergy to really make the powerful cards in Hunter shine (even that other new Legendary with Infuse). I think this card is strong after you’ve played Tavish & start pushing button.

good card. The best one of the wildseed spells. 4/5

Maybe a bit too slow compared to the other hunter spells and cards.

If works right (1° summon and then discount), it’s a lot of value for 3 mana. o-o Insane! 5/5

Isn’t this card just very VERY strong or am I missing something here? It creates a lot of value, and you won’t even lose out on tempo because it might pop some wild seed you already have on board. Creating 2 wildseeds for 3 mana is already powerful enough, the fact that this quickens them is just the cherry on the top of the cake.

2/3 chance you get one summoned immediately, else you’re hoping the swings on the following two turns make up for losing turn 3. Later in the game there’s the synergy with related cards, so this may be quite decent. 3.5/5

This is just a disgusting stat bomb isn’t it? Assuming the spell affects itself and only wildseeds currently in play (such as if you played the 2 drop last turn), even IF you low roll and hit the two slowest seeds you still get a 2/5 with taunt next turn and a gigantic weapon on turn 5.

Taking a turn 3 “do nothing turn” isn’t unheard of with how many times AI gets printed, but 2/3 of the time you are still getting a usable dark bomb the turn you play this.

Turn 3 do nothing isn’t as bad, but thinking in terms of later in the game, spending 3 mana to do nothing IS pretty bad. Look at how unplayable Immolate is, and how much people freaked out about how oppressive that card would be. Immolate sees play only because you can screw control & combo over because those decks can’t punish wasting 4 mana.

Any midrange or aggro deck will see you spend 3 mana on nothing and thank you for the extra tempo.

You are right though that this card combing with other Seed cards already played IS probably where it becomes pretty strong.
