Top Standard & Wild Legend Decks – Into the Emerald Dream (Week 10) – June 2025

Over the course of the last 3 weeks, we had three different metas. First was pre-mini-set, then the Embers of the World Tree changed it completely (with Imbue Druid and Hunter dominance), and then the latest balance update changed it once again. I won’t go very in-depth today because the meta is surprisingly still developing, even though we’re over a week after the patch.

While Diamond and lower ranks are dominated by Imbue Paladin, the deck falls off sharply in Legend. It’s still one of the best decks in the game, even at Legend ranks, but it no longer dominates. It’s a common story with Paladin, to be perfectly honest – many of the strong Paladin decks we had over the last few years (Handbuff Paladin is a good example) are rather straightforward. It makes their play patterns predictable, which an average player won’t necessarily exploit, but a high Legend one might.

Another similar case is Menagerie Imbue Priest. It doesn’t fall off nearly as sharply as Imbue Paladin, but it’s the second most popular and one of the strongest decks up to Diamond and then it becomes… alright

On the other hand, we have some decks that high Legend players still try to figure out. You meet them a lot at higher ranks, but once you get out of Legend they are much harder to find. The decks I’m talking about are the likes of Cycle Rogue (yes, Turn 4 Giants are back, how lovely) or Spell Damage Druid (which has a hundred different versions that are a mix between Tempo, Burn and Combo decks).

There’s even an Armor Demon Hunter making a comeback – I never expected to see it again after the nerf which killed the Arkonite Defense Crystal synergy with Ravenous Felhunter, but here we are – it actually does work. Although it no longer puts an infintie wall of Taunts and relies more on reviving Starships multiple times.

As I’ve said, the meta is still developing and many of the top decks player in Legend don’t have the best lists figured out. Overall the meta is way more balanced than the last one and no matter what type of deck you like playing, you should find something for yourself.

Patch 32.4 should be coming out on Monday according to the blog post about Arena revamp, and this time it’s also the expansion announcement patch. I don’t expect any balance changes, of course, but expansion announcement = new free Legendary card. In the past, they ranged from compeltely useless to meta-defining, so we’ll see how the upcoming one will fare. After that, there will probably be one more balance update before the actual expansion release (probably sometime mid-June). Unless Blizzard decides that it’s not needed, but we’ll see.

Below is a full list of the Legend decks from last week, sorted by the highest placement.
