Shaman got one of the best Legendaries in the set….. too bad Evolve Shaman and Totem Shaman kind of suck right now. Maybe we will see a new deck emerge. Hopefully.

turn 8 – Sabertooth Stalker (Make sure you have your Spellstone fully charged)
Turn 9 – Grumble Worldshaler to return your Sabertooth Stalker then play tar creeper or something to protect face
Turn 10 – Sabertooth Stalker + Windfury + Spellstone = All 4 of your 8/2 stealths have Windfury
Turn 11 – If your opponent doesn’t have AOE SMOrc
Or you could pull off the same combo with the Snowfury Giants after they’re reduced to 1 or 0

So… this +zola the gorgon is full board with 7/7 every turn for the rest of the game?
Pretty insane.. they will nerf this combo I think.

Hmmmm no ? How on earth you got that ?
Lets say you play this 6 mana. You play Zola 3 mana (you need this to be at 10 mana or hope this survives a turn on board)
You are left with one mana and a 6 mana Grambles in hand.
If they somehow both survive the next turn you can play Grambles to get them in hand as 1 mana and play them and start building board.
By then if you are not dead your opponent should quit the game.

In the turns leading up to playing this, play Earth Elemental, with Sapphire Spellstone in hand. This leaves you with 3 mana on turn 6, so play a tar creeper or something. Turn 7 play Blazecaller, Turn 8 play Kalimos. Turn 9, return everything to your hand but costing 1. Play Kalimos, Blazecaller, and Tar Creeper. If this already powerful board gets cleared, play Earth Elly into Spellstone and watch your opponent concede from the wonder of seeing 4 7/8 taunts with only overload 3.

You’re right I read it wrong
but still an Earth Elemental isn’t going to survive for 5 turns otherwise your opponent isn’t doing anything and you’ve already won

Nothing in the combo requires EE to stay alive for 5 turns. Ill try this combo.

While I agree that a lot of these combo suggestions are very outlandish, the way you’ve commented on this thread multiple times is toxic. You don’t like their wild ideas about letting minions live a turn or setting up a combo 5 turns out then feel free to breeze on to the next page. Or work on being more constructive in your feedback.

… and it’s an Elemental – so any cards with the “if you summoned an Elemental last turn…” text will be primed ready to drop next turn.

It also benefits from the mana cost reduction from Fire Plume Harbinger, potentially making it only a 4 mana drop (even less if you get silly/lucky with Far Sight) – there is some good combo potential here, especially with Kalimos, Fire Ellie, Blaze Ellie, Servant of Kalimos, Tol’vir Stoneshaper or Al’Akir – but even a 1 mana Hallazeal has potential as it’s much cheaper to combo with Lighting Storm or Volcano for a big swing/heal.

So many potential for evolve token shaman . Too many minions that evolve and the DK has a battle cry effect .. now imagine if I can turn 6 aboard of 3 minions evolved and turn 7 u can play this and play even one more minion with BC with more decent way .. i’d say it would make token shaman reach legend and even rank 1 dunno maybe we’ll had to wait and see

    • TheBannedMan
      November 23, 2017 at 7:28 am

This card doesn’t belong in a token deck where you never want to lose board, I can see it being ran in Elemental and Jade shaman though.

    November 23, 2017 at 12:32 am

I was thinking of the Dopplegangster combo. So you drop them dudes, lets presume they survive till the following turn, then you drop Grumble, get the 3 Gangsters and play all three for a total of 5 2/2s. But when played the costs of the cards was 1 mana. Will an evolve effect treat them like A thing from below and disregard the discount or will it fuck up the combo. I don’t see a logical reason for the latter, but I still wonder.

    • Albertus
      November 23, 2017 at 7:03 am

Even better, the 3 doppelgangsters will each summon 3 2/2’s, so you’ll have 9 2/2’s for 3 mana.

      • Piterno
        November 23, 2017 at 1:21 pm

Play this on turn 6, after playing Doppelgangster. Returning those 3 to your hand to cost 1, you have a lot of potential. Turn 7, play 2 of them and thrall. 6 7 cost minions for 7? yes please. 6x value!

        • Erik
          November 25, 2017 at 5:17 am

Playing doppelgangster on curve just to hope that they stick to play this the next turn.. feels to me that’s a combo way Too easy for your opponent to break, and losing your doppelgangsters in an evolve deck is very bad.

Doppelgangsters are usually played on 6 with evolve in one go because it immediatly makes your board alot bigger and harder too remove

    November 23, 2017 at 12:32 am

I fail to see what everyone is so excited about.
    1) You have to have a board when the turn starts if played turn 6. If you have like 2-3 of those big elementals that you want to bounce on the board then your winning already.
    2) It returns your minion to your hand, removing anything you might want to keep on the board.

    3.5/5
Its stats might be enough to make it playable, given its occasional other benefits. But I dont see it being the MVP much.

    • Mosab
      November 23, 2017 at 1:58 am

I don’t this card is made to be played on curve as a 6 mana 7/7. you use this card after using powerful battlecry minions like Kalimos, Blazecaller, fire ele, And the jade cards such as Aya who all have weak stats relative to there own mana cost. you play this on turn 9-10 to just play your 1 mana minions over to get there battlecries again a long with the 7/7 body, kind of like a redo. Its job is to outvalue your opponent, something that ele shaman needed to beat control decks, spirit echo wasn’t enough, but this guy will definitely make a impact on the archetype. all we’re missing now is some early game elementals to fight back against aggro decks, similair to Twilight whelp or wyrm agent of the dragon class, maybe a 2 mana rock elemental with taunt that gains stats if you summoned a elemental, or something of that nature, and the archetype will start to shape up.

      • Meta
        November 23, 2017 at 9:55 am

The archtype already has good elementals with hot spring guardian, tar creeper, fire plume phoenix, and servant of kalimos. Playing a 6 mana 77 and getting any of those back is good, except for tar creeper if its at full health.

        • Mosab
          November 23, 2017 at 9:29 pm

Yeah i know the archetype has some good cards, but like i said all its missing its a good 2 drop to play the allow the mana curve to flow properly, because all we have for turn 2 is jade claw or just hero power which seems underwhelming, Maybe fire plume harbinger sees play? it just needs 1 or 2 good early game minions, other than fire fly and this midrange/control elemental shaman will be a tier 2/1 deck for sure.

    • Meta
      November 23, 2017 at 10:06 am

You obviously wouldnt play this card if it made your board weaker. But if you have more than 6 mana and you have a blaze caller or fire ele in play for example, than this card is pretty nuts. But what makes this card so good is that you dont always have to have any minions on board to play it, because 7/7 stats for 6 mana is already strong.

Regardless of any effects you get from this card, it fills the 6 mana slot with an AWESOME tempo play in elemental shaman. That deck is going to get a lot better

    • Ertje
      November 23, 2017 at 2:01 am

Depends on the enemies board and class.
a single minion can be removed easily by a lot of classes,so replacing your board with a 7/7 can cuase you to lose a lot of tempo if they have a way to remove it cheapily.
eventhough your minions will be 1 mana the next turn, you might already be to far behind on tempo to swing the game back in your favour

    November 22, 2017 at 9:39 pm

I feel like this card won’t work that well. Spirit Echo doesn’t hit many targets when played, and that is half the mana. I really wish this worked, but I think it will be a disappointment.

    • Muzek
      November 22, 2017 at 11:08 pm

Your talking about a 3 mana 0-0 that has no cost reduction versus a 6 mana 7-7 that turns cards into ultimatecombo potential. not a simular connection. For spirit echo to be worth it you need it to land on specific minions and need it to not be silenced. For this to be worth it you need to play it while you dont need anything in play. Worst case scenario you pay 1 mana to fully heal a minion which is really good! and that’s the minority. More than usually youll be getting at least one good battlecry. Not to mention barnes shananigans. This is a 6 mana 7-7 with no drawbacks.

      • shamanGod
        November 23, 2017 at 12:53 am

But the problem with this card is that people don’t put cards on their deck just because they have good stats. This might as well be a bolder first ogre most of the time because usually when you play cards like Kalimos or Aya, your opponent has a way to remove them before you can follow up with Grumble. This has no immediate effect on board as it has no taunt. So other than being a good arena card, I don’t think that this will make Shaman much better, sadly

        • Muzek
          November 23, 2017 at 1:21 am

Having a 6 mana 77 in the game imediately makes shaman better since thw number one combo played by shaman is dopplegangster evolve. So yeah the mere existence of this card does make shaman better even if it is that slight. However, the potential value is extremely high and that chances it affects at least one card is extremely high as well. I feel like a lot of people underestimate how easy it is for shamans to have atleast one minion in play by turn 7 in which case the worst scenario (1 mana completely heal a minion) is possible. I think this card is powerful enough to spawn anew battlecry based archetype of shaman esspicially with brann in wild. Is it slow for one turn? Yes, but the catchup mechanic is so strong it didn’t matter, and if there’s one class with the potential to catch up quickly its shaman.

This is where Doppelgangster’s card text matters. Drop one, and either in the same turn with mana reduction or on another turn while they ignore your Doppelgangsters you drop this dude. Get three 1-mana Doppelgangsters in your hand, ready for the evolvin’ 😀

          no, they do not.

There is a reason why you always kill the middle one first. It is the only one that duplicates, and a different card that the ones on the sides. The ones on the sides do not duplicate

          • Melink
            November 23, 2017 at 12:46 am

The ones on the side do duplicate. There’s no reason to kill the one in the middle. Put your mouse over the copies and you’ll see they have the battlecry in their description.

All three duplicate. This confusion is solved by simply reading the card text on each card.

          • Helioshadow
            November 23, 2017 at 7:54 am

All three duplicate. Look at the card text. “Battlecry: Summon two copies of this minion”. This includes the Battlecry. It’s a bit misleading because the card art differs (and I have no idea why they didn’t just use the same card art), but it IS true. It’s different on Alleycat and Twin Emperor (and to an extent Firefly) because they summon DIFFERENT minions as opposed to copying their effect on another minion.
