Our Lethal Puzzle Lab Solutions Guide will run you through all of the answers for each of the puzzles listed in the Lethal section of the Puzzle Lab! We have a full list of the puzzles, as well as the answers and some tips to help you get through the lab.

The Lethal Lab will be the most familiar to players. These are the type of puzzles you are facing in-game, and when you are watching streams or playing some user made puzzles on the web. Here's the official description from Blizzard:

In this experiment, the assistant is tasked with neutralizing the opponent in one turn using the cards at their disposal. We expect this will provide valuable insights into the destructive properties of many of our inventions.

            Double pyro did it with ww last (for the ones wondering). It has to be at 2 hp when you use ww with double pyro down.

    Swear the last lethal for Lil' Stormy is impossible? Am definitely missing something but can only deal 7 damage to the hydra, resulting in 21 face damage. Hitting face with weapon only deals another 2 and can't find the final 2 damage anywhere :(

      just did it! use the coin and backstep on your mana addict, then use one razor petal on the drake, and the 4 dmg spell to finish it. use the 2 coins u get and use shadow strike on the enemy hero and the remaining razor petal also on the enemy hero => lethal

    Not enough mana for the solution to first lil stormy puzzle. Pyromancer 2mana, consecration 4mana, bluegill 2mana, (8mana already now), needs 4 more mana for trusilver champion but only have 2 more mana.... wtf?

      You need to hit the 5/4 with the 1/1, Pyro+cons, hit with the 6/6, then equality, which will equip the 5/3 weapon, and all face.

          Do you mean when you PW:Shield the Cleric? If so, I hit the same roadblock. I don't think this puzzle is beatable.

    PUZZLE #3 – NEVER GO FULL NORTHSHIRE
    Shuffle clerics first, elven archer anything, pw:shield archer, play cleric, heropower on damaged minion, play clerics, refill mana, shuffle boards, play 3/2, Trearchery Cleric, play 3/3, Heal thing that is gonna be 1/1, Circle! Boom is -36. Also, dont archer yourself

    Hello Stonekeep,

    Ur solution for the infinite Northsire lethal puzzel isn't right. Tried it multiple times. U start with 2 minions. U play lab and elven so that is 4 minions with pyro u will lose these 2 so u stuck on 3 than u play fendal and 3 northshires and got 7 minions on board. U swap the board. U have a damaged nortshire than that u can't lose by treachery because of a full board. Than u will circle and u fatique yourself. Hope u have a better solution^^

      But you can! Treachery kills it when your opponent has a full board, so you won't take any fatigue damage.

      It's probably not the most optimal solution, but it worked for me.

          I actually had different solution for that one. :D Trearchery pyro then when clerics are on board i swapped it and circle healed.

      Found a solution. He was talking about the second part of the battle, which gives the boss 999 hp after you defeat him in the first part. in the first part, elven archer into sylvanus, the fungle enchanter. use the minoin that copies 3 to copy the cleric. power word sheild the enemy cleric, then play the cleric you draw, then pyromancer. use the mana recovery spell, then hero power your first cleric to draw the last 2. play only one (you only have space for one) then use binding heal on any cleric. play the last cleric, swap sides, then give him the cleric. use circle of healing and he fatigues to death.

      keep one of the north shire clerics in your hand to leave the open spot on the board. I was following it to a T for like 10 tries trying to see what I was doing wrong and realized I didn't need to play all of the clerics

      How is there no way to ping? Use your Hero Power to ping it. I just tried this one and it worked with the instructions listed.

    Play Play Dead, targeting Carnivorous Cube.
    Play Hunter's Mark, targeting Carnivorous Cube.

    Use your Hero Power, Steady Shot, which now deals 32 damage.

    So, one thing I noticed is not every puzzle has just one solution. I played through just the first lethal and there were 1-2 that I realized I did something different on.

      What do you mean by "don't seem specific enough"? They describe everything you need to do step by step, if you follow them to the letter, you should be able to get through that level.

      If you still have a problem, let me know where exactly. What you do in the game and in what way the solution here doesn't work for you.

        Actually, no you won't. The way the instructions are written, you won't do enough damage to the hero with Healing Rains - only 8 points. With the two attacks (you don't mention) and the two Lightning Bolts you will deal 12 more so Stormy survives with 5 points. You can do better using the 2nd Archer on the remaining Tentacle, but Stormy still survives with 1 point!

        So, here's my solution:
        1: Play Defender of Argus between Cure-All and Tentacle of N'Zoth.
        2: Attack Stormy with Cure-All and Stormwind Knight. (6 damage).
        3: Play Elven Archer on 1/1 Tentacle of N'Zoth. (Does 1 damage to all minions.)
        4: Play 2nd Elven Archer on Cure-All or Defender of Argus.
        5: Play Lightning Bolt on Stormwind Knight.
        6: Play Healing Rains. (Heals 8 points - 16 points damage to Stormy).
        7: Play Coin + Lightning Bolt for Lethal.

          I've added the step about attacking with the minions, but other than that it works perfectly. You must not be following a step correctly.

          Healing Rain should do 14 damage to Stormy, leaving it at 11 Health. Two bolts + attacks = 12 damage for lethal.

    You can fill your side the board with minions, when he the bomb tries to switch it blows up

    There is a second solution to the second lethal doctor boom puzzle...
    1. Place your teacher
    2. Use you two damage spell on the bomb
    3. Use double health on any minion
    4. Place spider
    5. Refresh mana
    6. Place pyromancer
    7. Play either of the two spells remaining, not defile
    This kills the bomb because it cannot switch sides because your bird is full even though some of your minions die.

    The solution for the second Dr Boom puzzle is incorrect. I followed it carefully and it just makes the SPUD M.E. explode on me and not the opponent.

      The correct way to do it is
      1. Play Wild Pyromancer.
      Buff it with Power Word: Tentacles.
      2. Do not play circle of healing.
      3. Play the 0 mana spell that refreshes your mana.
      4. Play Holy Smite on Spud M.E.
      5. Play Violet Teacher.
      6. Play 2x Defile for lethal.
