Mulligans

General Mulligans

Scarab Egg combined with EVIL Genius will provide you with a huge tempo swing, and great tools to control the board. Hench-Clan Hogsteed allows you to take down annoying minions quickly, and leave a 1/1 behind. Nightmare Amalgam is there to allow you to trigger battlecries, but it can also serve as a emergency minion. Remember that at turn 8 it can be combined with Zilliax for an amazing 6/6 with Rush, Lifesteal, and Divine Shield.

This mulligan is basically the same for every matchup. In some cases, like CC Mage, you may prefer to pick Voodoo Doll to take down giants quickly. The same goes for stuff like Pogo Rogue, you may need Ironbeak Owl for them.

I called it “Prismatic” because of its many faces. Is this a murloc deck? Dragons? Mechs? Beasts? It’s everything at the same time.

As you can see, it’s mainly a deck aimed at beasts, but thanks to Nightmare Amalgam and the lackey generation, you can discover and trigger a lot of fun stuff. Sadly, it doesn’t have enough firepower to
be aggro, and it runs out of steam pretty quickly to be midrange. Still, it’s fun and it usually takes your enemy by surprise.

It’s hilarious when you drop cards like Untamed Beastmaster or Deathweb Spider and the enemy has to hover it because they’ve never seen it. Not to mention, the generation of random demons, spells, and dragons, can turn the tide in ways you can’t even imagine.
