There is a lot of murloc in the game right now. If you're against a mage or warrior then obviously skip the crab, however, you can eat your own murloc off of Hogsteed fir a big easy tempo swing, so against a shaman or paladin it is a top pick. Blood imp is a sleeper here. Combine it with any other one drop using the coin and your turn one is a force to be reckoned with. Nobody in the current meta has the tools to handle that on turn 2 except maybe a mage with frostbolt, but even they don't have that often enough in thier opener.Highlander Zoo Warlock to include Zephrys the Great
This deck has been excellent since I started using it, but after a recent revision it has become a true replacement for my stale Warrior decks.
Don’t be scared off by the idea of Highlander for the use of just one card, Zephrys. Zephrys is amazing in zoolock. The hero power, combined with The Soularium make him easy to find by turn 5, which is when you will want to start setting up lethal, which he gives me literally half of the games I play.
On the coin, a starting play of Blood Imp combined with any other solid one drop starts a snowball effect that will impress you.
Zephrys lethals to expect: You have a full board, with a combo in hand to buff your minions and drop a Leeroy, who you found easily thanks to warlock’s card draw, and the enemy drops a wall of taunts. Zephrys will give you Mass Dispell
Got a full board, but you’re going to die next turn if you don’t somehow turn those 5 or more tiny minions into 30+ damage? Here, have a Bloodlust
By now you may be thinking “Yeah dude, we all know how Zephrys works.”
Just consider that Zoolock and it’s diverse cast of characters never suffers from a lack of synergies, even with the highlander package listed here. But, given the ever changing board state and guaranteed confusion from your enemy, Zephrys produces lethals even on turns where you were just hoping to use him to stay alive.
The possibilities to produce lethal with “the perfect card” with a board as diverse as this can not be overlooked.
And you will never have a shortage of cards to play in a given turn.
3 cards in this deck produce Lackeys. Sinister Deal EVIL Cable Rat EVIL Genius, which gives plenty of fuel for a turn 3 or 4 EVIL Recruiter play.
Keeping a full board is easy as well, with SN1P-SN4P Scarab Egg Blood Imp and a few reborn minions as well. Grim Rally combined with the deathrattles produces a massive tempo swing, and you may also notice that most “playset” zoolock’s only take one grim rally now anways.
Anyway, give it a shot. I spent the last two months trying weapon, beast, and pirate warrior’s to mix up the game, and so my rank went up to 13. With this deck I have brought the rank back down into the single digits with ease. Win streaks are a given. It feeks almost unfair at the moment.
Literally only crafted Zephyrus this expansion. Broke right now and have all of these cards. 3 and 1 so far with this list… zephrys gave me soul of the forrest just before I was flamestriked and then I dropped leeroy for lethal the next turn with all the 2/2 treeants and a grim rally to give everythinf +1+1
