Get rid of Zola and Umbra and add two Gargoyles you’ve got a deck. The Gargoyles add some needed early game DRs to help fight vs aggro and get your Amara off more quickly, and the coins are clutch in a lot of scenarios. You already have Sceance to copy Amara and you don’t need Umbra to proc Hakkar. The ideal combo of Umbra + Coffin + Hakkar with no other DRs in hand is not reliable enough to count on. Just get an Experimenter to stick one turn and drop Hakkar, or just risk getting countered by silence but it’s not very likely because not many people are expecting this. The combo pieces included in this last are nice in theory but you need more consistency against aggro.
Are you trying to like Coffin Crasher your Hakkar out to have it die with no possibility of a silence? Do you save Hemet to blow up your own bloods in your deck? Does anyone have a guide or anything for this deck? I’m just not grasping it
Yes, Umbra + Crasher + no other DR minion = guaranteed blood.
Also yes, Hemet is in to blow up your own blood.
Archbishop is often enough to win the blood war, similar to the Warrior Hakkar deck with Dead Man’s Hand, but Hemet gives you a nice way to ensure you don’t die to it. Be careful not to blow up your own library too early and die to fatigue though.
so vs control, barring special cases like fatigue wars/other priests, do you generally (or would you say the idea is to generally) play archbishop as soon as you think it’s safe to do so without screwing up your drawing into the combo?
I have a 70% win rate on ladder with this deck. It is op in the current meta. Sub out umbra for lyra and one of the voodoo dolls for the spirit of death and it is crazy strong

Makes sense. I was having trouble trying to get that combo with Umbra and Coffin, it was way to slow and not reliable.

I would hold off on playing Archbishop until you draw Hakkar. After that, go for it.
Don’t waste your precious dust on this garbage, 0 wins out of 7 games in legend. Lose to every single OTK deck (which is 99% of legend rank right now)
