Mulligans
General Mulligans
Almost always want to mulligan for early control cards, getting a firefly down or a tar creeper early and using hero power to kill enemy minions. Daring fire-eater helps with slightly larger early minions like Hench-Clan Thug. Pyromaniac is a strong card at 3 mana 3/4 and the card draw is always nice value.
Odd mage deck that runs the elemental package, including Frost Lich Jaina, for a Ragnaros with lifesteal! Early game is mostly just upgraded hero power to control the board, shooting star is some additional removal, plus voodoo doll and ironbeak owl for single target. Usually try to save Zola for Jan’alai when you have ten mana crystals. Astromancers are good for the deck due to high curve of the deck and lots of card draw.
