I’m sorry but these are some pretty terrible questions.

1. Hearthstone is not getting more crowded. This is the 3rd straight year they will have 3 full expansions, and with rotations sets everywhere, the standard pool doesn’t increase from year to year.

2. Dates have never been revealed right when they announce a new expansion. They have very consistently starting announcing expansions a month before they release and revealing the majority of cards two weeks before release. This should be confirmed within the next two weeks, during which a handful of cards will be released. This is how it happens every time.

3. Yes, we will get a free legendary upon release. They have already announced this.

4. All legendary weapons rotated in April, not “most” of them. And no, there will not be new ones introduced this expansion. They always announce any new or renewed expansions during the announcement of an expansion. They would have already said if legendary weapons are coming back. Kinda weird and random to already be wondering when they might be coming back.

But not so many that it couldn’t work in a dedicated control deck. There are of course other problems preventing this from working in a control deck.

The whole point of the meme is cut you opponent’s deck in half while preservers your deck size. But yeah, it’s a bad plan. Certainly not a tier 3 deck or anything close to it.

It might not see play simply because the relevant Mage decks can’t find a place for it (to slow for aggro/tempo Mage and control Mage only plays 1 or 2 spells a turn) but it certainly won’t be for any of the reasons you said…
– random spell generators have repeatedly seen play in Mage decks
– its not hard to activate the effect, it just may be hard to in the meta-relevant decks
– the size of the body is the last reason this won’t see play; not only because the card would be played for its effect rather than its body, but because this is only missing 1 stat off a regular 2 drop

The only deck this would really fit into is a combo/OTK deck.
