Am I the only one seeing this minion as a potential breakout card? Here are my thoughts:

1.) Even though its drawback looks way worse than both Hydra and Reaver, I beg to differ. Its drawback is easy to be countered since not many minions foster unkillable health at the turn you drop this. Also, taunts are menacing but the reborn minions showcase only 1 health which can easily be countered by your low cost cards. Worst case scenario is if opponents drop 2 taunt minions at turn 5/6, but what are the odds? There are only a few good taunts left in standard, and mostly, the good ones are with warrior.

2.) It is a mech. It can be dropped the earliest at turn 3, with coin and both galvanizers as the most extreme perfect scenario. And this card, when not dealt with immediately, can grow more due to the Magnetic keyword. Zilliax is the premise of everyone when rating this card, but this card can be magnetized by Zilliax as well, being a 11/10 monster that it is.

3.) Dr. Boom hero card would love to have this as a Rush minion to destroy pogos or giants, or any big statted minion alongside Omega 10 damage, which gives Warrior another big statted minion for control and board dominance.

4.) 5 mana 8/8 is insane as evidence to hydra and reaver’s existence. Will aggro want this? Maybe. It only is susceptible to taunts blocking its way. Remember a card in RoS? The one that silences taunt minions? Well it was overrated before, but now may be its time to shine.

I mean, you play this and then your opponent plays zillax, and you lose on the spot

    Seems good

      This.

Zilliax alone makes this a 1/5 card.

Dirty constructed player. Zilliax alone is NOT the reason this is a 1/5. In Arena this will still be a bad card outside of a potential finisher and it’s not because of Zilliax.

I don’t think you’d normally include this in your deck, but you might end up playing it with discover effects. You might get this with the dr boom HP and then you can magnetize a zilliax to it if you’re really desperate for health.

This card is staggeringly bad, 1/5 in Wild.

Eeh. It’ll probably see a bit of Experimentation because a 5 Mana 8/8 is interesting, but the Drawback is just too much, even with Silence and Mech Synergy. 2 Stars.

Stop it already stop giving silence priest more and more toys. This is basically a giant playable turn 4-5. Then even if your opponent tried to take advantage all you would need is to run mass dispell to counter non rush/charge drops. Tag this with the 0 Mana silence and you have a big stick.

Lol chill bro. Silence Priest is nowhere near out of control. It’s barely even relevant. And a 5 mana 8/8 two card combo is nowhere near broken.

I just find that deck type annoying it’s bad if the cards don’t line up but when they do it’s just repeated big stat minions that can smash the early game cards of some other classes. Only deck I use that can counteract it is my bomber warrior since have a lot of control and removal.

Guys.. This is way worse than Hydra. Zilliax alone makes this card unplayable

I’d say your wrong Hydra in worst case scenario can can kill you if opponent could poke it with a bunch of 1 attacks that’s 24 dmg to your face. And spells used to dmg it basically become almost as if you just targetted opponents face. Hydra was only good during time with death stalker rexar get it from build a beast with lifesteal and that was a broken card.

I think this may be worse than a card like Hydra or Reaver. I think these cards are best at top end of aggressive decks. But the problem with this is that it makes a taunt minion or something like Zilliax, a good card against you, even stronger. Whereas losing life or cards from your deck doesn’t hurt an aggro deck as much, giving Zilliax or something reborn could ruin your aggro plan. So 2 stars from me.

Silence Priest, Aggro, Mech decks. This fits in a lot of places. I would consider this to better than Bittertide, but it probably won’t see play out side of some tier-3 decks. 3/5

Curious how this one will turn out, being a mech surely opens some bs posibilities

Similar to Fel Reaver. Except to bait mass silence removal the following turn

Pretty great in an aggro deck, the new Fel Reaver / Bittertide Hydra. 4/5

I would find potential in the opposite idea – an understatted, expensive card that would give one or multiple of your minions Reborn. But this way around ? Ehhh… It’s awkward and rather dangerous for yourself. I wouldn’t consider this for most decks. 2/5 is my guestimate for now

    Maybe in mech Hunter?

Like Yrkomm16 already said. This can maybe work against aggro. BUT. Its a 5 drop… so thats maybe to late vs aggro. This may end as tech card in Tournaments against spellheavy decks. Something like a deck against Mage Quest. Priest, especially Silence Priest can also make use of it. its a niche card, with usage in specific decks. So maybe only one or two classes can make any use of it. 2,5/5.

Its not supposed to work against aggro, its meant to be played in aggro decks

  18. July 29, 2019 at 3:17 am

Don’t really know what to think of this card. It’s stats are really good (bitteritde hydra), yet the downside is so severe that this really needs to be silenced the turn it comes out. Really torn on this one, but maybe I’m thinking about this too harshly. 1/5

Great for Aggro decks. Better Hydra. Great for Zoo, play this on empty board and hit face. Opponent will be behind after he develops the board again with Reborn minions he will be dead already.
