Top Finishing Standard Legend Decks from Season 39 (June 2017)

Another Hearthstone Season is in the books, so it’s time to take a look at some of the best finishing decks in Standard. Freeze Mage seemed to be a popular choice for a lot of players, and some used the tried and true Quest Rogue before the big nerf comes and takes it down a notch.

The ranks listed were provided by the players and aren’t official until Blizzard releases them.

Top Legend Decks from Season 39

This is probably the most interesting deck that came out of the end of the season. It’s a mix of Murloc Paladin with some unusual additions like Argent Squire and Dread Corsair. Makes the deck a bit more aggro and tempo based.

Fibonacci continues to post high rank finishes with Control Warrior.

Evolve Token Shaman was not just a one hit wonder, and is still doing high numbers in the Legend ladder. Amnesiac adds a slight twist by cutting a Doppelgangster and adding in Sea Giant.

Fibonacci favors his Control Warrior, but Eloise used Quest Taunt Warrior to secure her a top 50 finish.

Freeze Mage saw quite a bit of action in the high ladder, which is due to its ability to win versus the token decks of the field in Aggro Token Druid and Evolve Shaman.

If you are looking to counter Freeze Mage and don’t have Control Warrior available to you then Control Priest can do the job! Priest actually has quite a few viable options for ladder right now: Silence, Control, Dragon, and Combo!

A blend of Tempo, Burn, and Giants combine together to make an interesting Mage list that got Apxvoid to a high ladder finish.

Probably one of the biggest surprises to me on this list is Brian Kibler finishing top 200 with Kazakus Priest. Without Reno in the mix this deck is a lot harder to pilot, but Priest seems to have enough tools that help it get out of trouble!
