Deck Import

This Aggro Pirate Warrior deck list guide for the Kobolds and Catacombs expansion will teach you how to play this extremely fast paced Warrior deck. It uses aggressive Pirate minions with Weapons and Weapon synergy to generate a lot of early game pressure to defeat your potion. Our Aggro Pirate Warrior guide includes Mulligans, Gameplay Strategy, Card Substitutions, and Combos/Synergies!

Introduction to Pirate Warrior

Pirate Warrior is very controversial because it has the ability to kill opponent’s very quickly and many view unfairly. This deck, however, can run out of steam  and can be hurt with tech cards such as Golakka Crawler and Weapon removal like Acidic Swamp Ooze, Gluttonous Ooze, or Harrison Jones. One of the big weaknesses of this deck is that it contains no card draw, so if it draws a slow hand or a handful of weapons it can just lose on the spot.

The deck took a pretty big hit with the nerf to Fiery War Axe, but Prince Keleseth seemed to soften the blow. Pirate Warrior isn’t as strong as it once was, but with the addition of some new tools in Kobolds and Catacombs it might be in a better spot than it was in the Frozen Throne meta.

Kobolds and Catacombs Update

Warrior didn’t get anything too great for Pirate Warrior in the Kobolds expansion. However, it did get Lesser Mithril Spellstone which looks kind of like an odd addition, but when paired with Spiteful Summoner makes for a pretty big mid-to-late game board swing. As most aggressive decks have done, it also includes Corridor Creeper which rewards aggressive lists for trading early and allowing them to accelerate a higher stat minion to the board.

Update: Aggro Pirate Warrior – February 2018

It might finally be the nail in the coffin for Pirate Warrior in Standard. Patches and Corridor Creeper are both being nerfed. Creeper looks to be totally dead, but Patches could still see play in full Pirate based decks. Pirate Warrior might be finally relegated to Wild.

Starting Out Tips

First, don’t just throw a minion down on your first turn and immediately pass the turn. I can’t tell you how often I would absentmindedly do this while Patches the Pirate would be shot out of a cannon and make me feel like a fool. This is an aggressive deck, but it doesn’t mean you have to play every card at lightning speed! Another card that tripped me up in the beginning was Bloodsail Cultist. For some reason I thought it buffed a weapon if you had a weapon equipped, unfortunately for me it requires that you have a Pirate on the board. Hopefully these couples of tips will save you some of the embarrassment I originally went through.

Why is Patches the Pirate Good?

I see this question a lot so I’d like to address it. Patches is a minion that lands on your board for free the majority of the time unless you get him in your first draw or mulligan. Think of it as starting the game off with a 1/1 minion already on the board, and a deck that has 29 cards in it. A thinner deck enables you to draw more reliably. Also, starting off with a 1/1 minion on your board for free gives you a pretty nice advantage. Patches is also a Pirate, which in a Pirate synergistic deck means you’ll be able to enable cards like Bloodsail Cultist more easily on curve.

Think about this first turn on The Coin: N'Zoth's First Mate, The Coin, Patches hits the board, you play Southsea Deckhand. You get a 1/3 Weapon, two 1/1s, and a 2/1 on turn one. That’s a pretty crazy first turn and is difficult for your opponent to deal with.

Aggro Pirate Warrior Mulligan Guide and Strategy

Without Fiery War Axe you are looking for cheap minions to populate your hand. Fire Fly, N'Zoth's First Mate, and sometimes Southsea Deckhand (with support). However, the key now is Prince Keleseth. If you start with him in your hand your winrate increases significantly! Always be mulliganing hard for the Prince and only really look to keep Fire Fly & N’Zoth’s First Mate which are very good openers. If you have a 1-drop and especially if it’s a Pirate, then you keep Corridor Creeper! I know it sounds crazy to keep a 7-cost minion, but just trading a few minions brings it down to a 4-cost card, and by turn 3 it could be even lower. You will often be able to get Corridor Creeper down to 0-mana by turn 4 which gives you a huge tempo swing.

You can potentially keep a 3-drop like Bloodsail CultistFrothing Berserker, or Southsea Captain if you have Keleseth already.

Aggro Pirate Warrior Play Strategy

Pressure and damage to the face is the name of the game with this very aggressive deck. Now, that doesn’t mean you should send every Weapon charge to the face, in fact the Weapons are normally better used for keeping their board relatively clean while your fragile minions continue to punish your opponent. You want consistent and repetitive damage with your minions, but trading away a couple 1/1s to preserve a larger minion on your board is usually the correct play.

Using your Weapon charges also greatly depends on what you have in your hand. If your hand is clogged with Weapons then you should be more readily using up the charges. This is especially the case with N’Zoth’s First Mate’s weapon, you are going to have stronger weapons to get to in the later game so it can be best to use it up while you can.

In Aggro matchups, you want to make trades as efficiently as possible so you are dictating the terms. You’ll only go hard to the face when you make your final push for lethal. Aggro decks have a hard time coming back into the game. In the Pirate Warrior mirror, they won’t be able to draw into many cards. In these Aggro matches, you can pretty much flood the board as quickly as possible because there’s rarely any AOE issues (unless it’s Shaman with Maelstrom Portal).

This deck gets a whole lot better against aggressive matchups if you are able to play Prince Keleseth. The +1/+1 stats give you a big advantage and this alone can often determine the game.

Control matchups are the times where you can’t really afford to make trades. You need to pressure them and force them to keep playing on the back foot. If they are able to eliminate your early threats you’ll have a hard time coming back in the game unless you find yourself able to build up a large damage combo with stuff like Leeroy Jenkins.

Corridor Creeper is the new kid on the block, and a lot has already been said about it in the community. It’s an insane card, and it’s even better when used in a deck that has Patches the Pirate in it. You are often trading your minions back and forth in the early game, so Corridor Creeper’s cost is reduced immediately. On turn 2 if you and your opponent both played a card and have Patches on the board then Creeper is already going to be down to 3-mana with those trades. So you could see a scenario where the costs 1 or 0-mana on turn 3!

The kind of odd addition to Pirate Warrior is the Spiteful Summoner & Lesser Mithril Spellstone combination. You basically don’t ever want to draw the spellstone and instead are hoping to get a good outcome from Spiteful Summoner, but you don’t really want to draw her until late in the game. These two cards do help give you some late game firepower, but if you draw them early they are going to be pretty dead in your hand.

Aggro decks test your ability to understand how to play your hand. You’ll have to learn how to judge when it’s time to go all-in, and when you should trade. If you are against the ropes, then it’s best to just throw it all on the board and see if they can answer it. If they have the answers, well you were probably going to lose anyway. On the other hand, you’ll win some games you had no business winning because they didn’t have the cards to stop you.

Aggro Pirate Warrior Alternate/Tech Cards

These are cards that go in and out of the deck and can also be used to replace cards you might not have.

  • Upgrade! – You have a lot of weapons so this card makes sense, unfortunately it’s a bit weak if you don’t have a weapon and you will rarely want to equip the 1/3.
  • Bloodsail Corsair – Early game pirate with an upside, unfortunately it’s pretty much outclassed by Fire Fly and the synergy Fire Fly has with Creeper.
  • Mortal Strike – Great finishing potential and allows you to do direct damage around taunt minions. Unfortunately if you draw this in the early game it’s really bad, and can be a completely dead draw when you are looking for a weapon or minion. One good thing about this card just existing is that a better opponent will play around it and potentially give you an extra turn to live by avoiding bringing you down to 12.
  • Arathi Weaponsmith – Weak stats and an okay effect, but you are looking for impact out of a 4-mana minion and you are largely hoping to be leading into turn-5 with an Arcanite Reaper.
  • Captain Greenskin – Obviously a strong card when you have a Weapon equipped, but can be really slow if you don’t.
  • Spellbreaker – A great way to get rid of an annoying taunt while developing the board.
  • Naga Corsair – Still sees play in some versions of the deck, it’s a solid body with Pirate synergy that can buff your weapon. Also great for budget versions of the deck.
  • Phantom Freebooter – A new card from the Frozen Throne, it isn’t a game changer but it can be very strong when played with a big Arcanite Reaper. It also will demand removal if you hit it with a buff and hopefully allow the rest of your board to survive.
  • Bittertide Hydra – Largely being phased out by Corridor Creeper at the moment, but if you don’t have the Creeper then play the Hydra instead.

Aggro Pirate Warrior Card Substitutions

  • Patches the Pirate – I wouldn’t run this deck without him. Before you ask, yes I would craft him still even though he’s going to be rotated out of Standard when the first new expansion releases in 2018.
  • Captain Greenskin – Solid card but not necessary if you don’t have it. Corsair or Bitter Tide Hydra can work in its spot, but you might even want Spellbreaker to deal with annoying taunts.
  • Leeroy Jenkins – This is a very solid finisher. Leeroy is also a solid craft because he won’t rotate out of Standard (unless he’s added to the Hall of Fame, in which case you’ll get full dust back). You can run Bittertide Hydra instead, or try any of the alternate cards listed above.
  • Spiteful Summoner – If you don’t have her then don’t run the Mithril Spellstones either. Bittertide and Naga Corsair are your best options if you haven’t used them as replacements yet.
  • Corridor Creeper – This card fits in just about every deck right now, but if you don’t want to craft them you can run Bittertide Hydra instead or as a really cheap option go with Naga Corsair.

Aggro Pirate Warrior Combos and Synergies

That first turn N'Zoth's First MatePatches the Pirate, The Coin, with Southsea Deckhand is an awesome combo that gives you an impressive board state.

All of these cheap minions synergize well with Corridor Creeper. Try to get it to 0-mana so you can play it on the same turn as another minion for maximum tempo swing.

If you have Prince Keleseth in your hand, you might not want to play a Pirate immediately so you can buff your Patches and get a 2/2 charger on the board for free. This can be the case if you went second and your opponent plays a minion that will just easily kill Patches.

Hi guys, just a question. I’m having troubles playing this deck in standard format because the game just allows me to play it in wild. Any help?

Its cuz u probably have a card that has rotated out of standard.
If its still not working deleat decklist and put it togehter again.

Like Anders said it’s likely because of the Standard rotation where all decks got switched to wild. If you select the deck in your My Collection area you can hover over where you name the deck and you’ll see a button for Convert to Standard. If you click that it should work for you again.

Guys. Cut 2 Ravensaurs and add 2 Mortal Strikes. I’m Pirate Warrior player and I now what it means. Its really dificult to beat your opponent without this card. Its just free damage. Ravensaurus is realy week card. Mortal strikes played me a lot of games. Just think about opponents Taunts or freeze. Good luck 😉

I agree with you. I never understood what’s the point of not having mortal strikes but having those ravasaurs.

Greetings, apologies, that you think the addition of “Mortal Strike” to the deck, for the subject of having burst and to be able to pass to the taunts ?, since the taunt warrior has several annoying areas and very strong taunt from 5 – 6 shift. Would it be nice to put one or two copies? And that could be removed for it. Thank you.

No problem son, I think it’s a good thing that someone thought about a deck for people whose brain is too slow to elaborate strategies 🙂 I mean, life is not easy for them, I like to think that they can do the same activities than “normal” people.

Yeah, i think that’s the reason why the Hearthstone Community is so big. I mean compare it to chess, most people don’t give a fuck about it because it’s hard to understand.

…. you should realize the chess community is much, much bigger than the Hearthstone community.

I use Cruel Taskmaster and Mortal Strike instead of Ravasaur Runt and Naga Corsair. Not that I currently play the deck given the anti-aggro meta we have right now.

The taskmaster allows you to trade upwards when needed or just push more damage. Two mana 2/2 deal 2 damage or just a ping is amazing and quite flexible.

As for the strike, it’s a no brainer in this list.

C’mon. Everyone is sick to death with this freakin’ archetype. Why the heck would you update this stupid list to the current meta. I’m so damn tired of seeing s**tty pirate warriors in hearthstone.Do you know how much games have been so dull and boring because of this damned list? Can’t you just fly off into the sunset and disappear from the meta forever already?!

I replaced one of the southsea captains for a second mortal strike. your enemies will put out as many big taunts as possible as that is basically the way to beat this deck. the second mortal strike has won me a few games.

        April 25, 2017 at 1:21 am

I’ll be honest with you, I main Pirate Warrior, and I absolutely hate it. But I don’t really have a choice. I’m a casual F2P player, and it is absolutely impossible to get a decent deck unless you throw cash at Blizzard (especially with the horrendous Un’goro pack draw issues), grind forever, or get really, really lucky. I was one of the latter, and drew Patches from the free Gadgetzan packs you got from the quests when it was being introduced. And from there, I dusted a huge amount of cards and just barely managed to build a Pirate Warrior, though with a few holes due to insufficient Dust. Miles above the almost 100% basic Druid I was playing before.

I hate it. I’ve finally started being able to stand up to the stronger decks, but it’s no fun to play as. I barely ever make any decisions playing it, just Face (almost) all the time, and if I have a bad draw curve, that’s pretty much GG. But the pay model is not giving me much of a choice. Either I run my Pirate Warrior, or I crawl back to my Basic Druid which, while fun to play, just can’t really stand up against the current meta.

tl;dr: a lot of us are pirate warriors out of necessity rather than choice. Blame the game, not the Pirates.

          April 27, 2017 at 7:21 am

Thanks for the long reply, Dave, I like when people express themselves. I see your point. My point is that the game exists for us to have fun with it.
If you hate a deck, you don’t have fun playing with it, even in high ranks. In this case, there’s no reason in playing the game. That’s the way I see things.

I prefer to use a basic deck I like and try hard to achieve rank 15, for example, instead of playing the grind ladder with a deck I hate and get rank 5+ every month.

About the money, there’s no doubt that buying packages help your progress in the game, but it’s not necessary. It just takes longer and you need more discipline to get gold and use it well.

But it’s a fact that it’s very hard for a free player to be able to play with every meta deck, every meta. The most common scenario is a free player being able to build a couple of tier 1/2 decks.

For me, Pirate Warrior is a coin. If you get a good curve, you win, if not, you lose. With the abundance of taunt minions in Un’Goro, the deck is having a hard time right now.

What about Inner Rage? it’s +2 attack for free (you loose 1 life, so what), it will be awesome on Berserker, Kor’kron or Leeroy. Why isn’t that in the deck ?

    • Kynes
      April 6, 2017 at 2:55 pm

The answer to this is always, “what would you replace?” This list is pretty tight as is. Now that Finley is out of standard you could replace him with an Inner Rage if you wanted, but I think another Mortal Strike would still be better.

This deck got me from 20 to 17, but then the success stopped. What am I doing wrong? I can’t seem to win. I personally feel like I need more card draws, because I rarely get any of my 1 cost minions until rounds 7+.

It’s hard to answer your question without seeing you pilot the deck. Are over trading or not trading at all? What do you keep in your mulligans? Also sometimes your opponents have their answers and there is nothing you can do. Maybe download a deck tracker and review your games to see where you went wrong.

One thing that might help is learning the most popular decks that are being played and try to memorize what cards are in them. It seems like a lot of work, but when you play every single day, it’s not actually that bad. Deck guides make this easier by the fact that many players will simply netdeck the entire deck from the internet, and little do they know they’ve just shown you every card in their deck.
Also, counting cards helps; let’s say you’re playing against druid. After he plays a swipe, note that or write it down, as it means 1) you can generalize the chance he will have another one by his deck and hand size and 2) you can be more aggressive with smaller minions
Third, it may help to watch friends play, especially if they are a higher rank. If you have any questions why they traded or not, ask and they will probably be happy to help you understand.
I’m playing something similar to pirate warrior atm, though I took out Southsea Captian, Mortal Strike, and Naga and put in Curator (4/6 taunt, draw up to 3), Dragonkin Crusher (9/9 for 6) and Fierce Monkey (3/4 taunt for 3, not the greatest but decent). I will know how good it is when I stop winning 😛
If you want to add me, I can spectate sometime or vise versa 🙂

    February 20, 2017 at 8:37 am

I don’t understand this deck at ALL. I’ve tried it several times and it’s terrible. Every single time I play its against someone with nothing but taunt cards, except one priest with a deck full of legendaries that just healed through everything. The only cards I don’t have are Leeroy and 1 Southsea captain. (I subbed a Cpt. Greenskin and a GS Pawnbroker). One of the biggest problems is removal for taunters with 5+ life, which means high loss rate when shieldmastas come out. Maybe at the top when no one uses shieldmastas, cheap taunts, or oozes it’s better? At the bottom EVERY deck has these. Removals take two cards at least, which stinks if you don’t get Sir Murgleton and warlock hero power.

    • Evident - Author
      February 20, 2017 at 9:27 am

You should really have Weapons (I assume you aren’t attacking face early with these) available or something like Heroic Strike to remove minions. This deck is pretty common for use in climbing the ladder, so I’m surprised it would be a struggle even at lower ranks. Not having Leeroy would be a problem, there will often be times you need him to get that last bit of burst to finish off an opponent. I would probably add Argent Horserider in place of the cards you mentioned.

Ok, so I should use charge minions for removal and then go face with the weapons?

          February 20, 2017 at 2:23 pm

Oh, you mean the opposite, weapons for removal and charge minions to face. I wish I had Leeroy but I only have 500 dust and that’s going towards Aya for my Jade decks since my legendary luck in Gadgetzan exp is terrible.

Minions generally go to the face for the most part, but you should take good trades if they are available and to protect your better minions.

in the top ranks 10-9-8 there arent many taunts and if you have good synergies you can remove 1 5 taunt lets say instand

Hello. Why not have ‘Acidic swamp ooze’ in the deck?

It’s a dead card in some matchups, and destroying a weapon from something like Shaman isn’t actually that great. You can add one in place of a Deckhand though.

Is it just me who built this because I love Pirate themes and wanted to make a good, functional one since I noticed Pirates were an actual game archetype? (Yeah, I guess so).

Now Blizzard “threatens” to nerf “the archetype” because too many people play said archetype. Thing is, the only one minion warranting an actual “nerf” would be Small-Time Buccaneer. 3-2 for 1 mana is The Tempo of Tempos.

I replaced 1 Frothing Berserker by 1 Grimy Gadgetter because I thought Frothing Berserker is a bit slower.
Got some nice results so far.
    Any ideas?

do you think its a good idea to replace finley with southsea captain or even ooze with 2nd southsea captain?

    how about naga corsair?

    • Evident - Author

I’d run a Southsea Captain and a Naga Corsair.

I really like the fact the blizzard killed all the old cards just so that this disgusting excuse of a “fresh, new meta” full of face infested decks can exist. Heck, whenever i play wild, my fun is completely ruined by this rotten deck. I can’t wait for a time when self made decks can climb the ladder can come again. these net decks just ruined my long time trying to collect all the top cards of the game. I’m just very disappointed that this awesome game has been reduced into this.

Very good deck, however, dragon priest is impossible to beat. Any tips? And very surprised that there is a 58% win rate against dragon priest, I have around 20% win rate.

Is this deck good without sir finley mrglmrgl and the patches the pirate ?

It would be good at the lower ranks, but the higher you climb the harder it will be without those cards.

“Also, you might want to use the “Oops” emote to appear like you accidentally missed your Hero Power.”

Hey, so I just have a question about the deck. Is it possible to make a pirate warrior deck with patches being my only legendary?? I only have enough dust to craft one legend and I don’t know what to make.

    Thanks.

    • Evident - Author
      December 27, 2016 at 8:25 am

Yeah, you could play this without Leeroy and Sir Finley. You could run double Argent Horserider, or one Horserider and Reckless Rocketeer.

Try SuperJJs deck. Its okay without finley so you should be fine.

  34. Mattthr
    December 13, 2016 at 8:12 am

I was cursing this deck until I stumped up the dust to craft it myself. And you know what? It’s harder to play than it looks, far more so than the abusive aggro decks of yore like Undertaker Hunter.

The problem is that it’s massively fragile. No defence, no card draw, no AoE at all. You have to play relentlessly, and make perfect choices in terms minion trades and weapon management.

Of course it’s powerful. And frustrating. But it’s hardly brainless and takes more skill than you might imagine. It’s also not hard to defeat with the appropriate cards.

    December 8, 2016 at 6:32 am

I’m fairly convinced that since the release of the “Mean Streets” expansion the meta has actually sped up rather than slowed down as Blizz might have intended… and this is one of the reasons.

The best way to lock down a Jade Golem deck – or any other late-game, big minion focused deck for that matter? Kill them before they can snowball; if you can survive the first few turns and heal back up, you’ve generally got a pretty good chance of beating this deck – Kazakus Renolock I’ve found fairs relatively well.

… but it should get an award for the deck most likely to make me mutter “yeah – f*** you, you brainless aggro motherf*****” at the monitor when I win.

      December 9, 2016 at 6:36 am

cuz heartstone requires a brain right ? you’re just mad you’re expensive legendaaries gets rekt before you can show them

      • Shameful
        December 9, 2016 at 6:54 pm

Hearthstone should require a brain considering that it’s purpose is supposed to be a strategic card game which this deck is clearly not. And can someone explain to KENLEE that it isn’t about ‘expensive legendaaries’ but about your collection as a whole and because of brainless face decks like this a majority of cards blizzard produced that were intended to be played are not and THAT is very concerning and unhealthy for ANY card game

  36. Nerf time please
    December 7, 2016 at 5:00 am

This deck doesn’t need a guide because you don’t need to think to do well with it.
Here’s hoping Blizzard immediately nerf patches and the one mana pirate so this stupid deck can go away already, maybe just get rid of charge minions being able to hit face all together or have unique effects like the hog riders so it encourages you to play creative decks with charge instead of this brain dead face s***. This is not fun and it is ruining hearthstone

Your comment doesn’t make much sense, the guy was being serious and making a healthy suggestion that would improve the game drastically.
I’m sure everyone who is continuously playing this deck is not feeling salty anymore just completely fed up with it, you can tell with all these veteran hearthstone streamers like Kibler and Kripparian that they don’t enjoy playing against this and these are people who love hearthstone more then anyone

-1 Frothing Berserker -1 Acidic Swamp Ooze….+1 Wolfrider +1 Southsea Captain

  38. Fanderay
    December 6, 2016 at 10:01 am

This deck (with its variants) is ruining Hearthstone. I don’t care if someone plays an aggro-face deck, it is a legit way to play, but today I had 15 matches and 12 were pirate warrior. That’s too much. It seems everyone just want to become legend player using the same stupid deck archetype. I don’t get how this could even be fun.

  39. HeyZeus
    December 6, 2016 at 9:44 am

I replaced Swamp Ooze with Brawl. Way too many times you get caught with a Druid’s 10 health taunt and there goes your aggro.

  40. Sidleydoc
    December 6, 2016 at 2:29 am

Feels like Hobart should have a place in this deck but I can’t find any to take out. His weapon buffs synergise with the other pirates

    • Sidleydoc
      December 6, 2016 at 11:59 am

Replaced one frothing beserker with Hobart and getting good results so far, if you have a FWA then you get free dread corsairs. He’s a 2/2 so still a viable 2 drop in any case

      • Ryan
        December 10, 2016 at 10:40 am

Dude that’s a HORRIBLE trade…. Grapplehammer represents if you’re lucky 2 extra damage on average…. Compared to a Frothing that can straight up win games all by himself…

          March 27, 2017 at 5:30 pm

I totally agree. I see so many people saying to do just that, when you are effectively removing the most valuable card from the deck.

  41. Brian
    December 5, 2016 at 11:58 pm

This deck is too abusive, played from rank 18 to 14 in a winstreak (have to stop now because is late here). Anyway, I dont have Patches so I use Argent Commander and it works great.

    Priests are quite hard though.

  42. Kwik
    December 5, 2016 at 5:01 pm

It’s weird being on this side of canser. I usually like to play original decks that beat the meta. I had heard streamers say how broken Pirate Warrior was and that Patches needed to be nerfed. But it didn’t click with me until I played against it.

The deck is just strong. I guess this is how people that played Undertaker Hunter, Mech Mage, Patron Warrior, Secret Pally, and, most recently, Shaman must have felt when they were tier 1. If I wasn’t playing Pirate Warrior, I would be complaining about it. Instead, I’m just wondering why everyone else hasn’t already jumped on the bandwagon. It’s the single best deck right now. Period

I run 2 korgon elites in my pirate deck and find them absolutely irreplaceable. I also run leeroy as well, which has won me so many games in himself, as well as grapplehammer… Way better than featured list.

  47. Mars
    December 4, 2016 at 11:40 am

I used pirate warrior last season with fairly good success (I only hit Rank 5 as I wasn’t able to spend as much time as I’d like playing last month). I have updated my list since of course and find it similar to this list.

there are 3 card differences and I would like your thoughts on it. I have Hobart grapplehammer, Cap’n Greenskin, and Brass knuckles in mine… I’m open to suggestions. the cards I don’t have in my deck in comparison to this one are -1 N’Zoth first mate, -1 swamp ooze, -1 Patches the Pirate

    • Mars
      December 4, 2016 at 12:22 pm

now that I’ve had more time, after testing brass knuckles, it seems too slow for this deck.. in a higher mid-range (or possibly a control deck) brass knuckles would do better. I have since replaced brass knuckles and trying out Patches the Pirate 🙂

        December 4, 2016 at 1:12 pm

Yeah, I was going to say the cards you listed are kind of slow. This version of the deck seems pretty well optimized.

if you want to counter this deck, i suggest playing a taunt midrange warrior, it’s the most effective one imo. I guess dragon priest could also work, haven’t try it tho…
