Why is this a legendary?

This is worst than Cobalt Guardian from GvG, that one regains Divine Shield whenever you play a Mech, which so much more accessible

Ok, on a serious matter other than Randomage coming back every expansion, this is still like drawing a card for a pretty reasonable statline.

I mean, people also played Malchezar, League of Explorers Elise (Golden Monkey), Un’goro Elise (Ungoro Pack), to fish out more value over time. So this is still pretty good even though some cards added from this are bad and it doesnt provide as much value, but the card that you get is in your hand (no need to redraw another card to get more cards).

But even then, the 2 mana 1/1 Divine Shield Spell Dmg +1 would easily outclass this, cause the spell damage stays on twice during its activation.

These kinds of cards are actually pretty good in arena, but in constructed, you probably make these deck styles for memes.

Arena is all about tempo

In constructed, if compared to blessing of Kings, this gets more value over time and you can reshuffle valuable minions (i.e. Nzoth-like minions (I know it’s rotating out)). So yep, it is quite good.

Both Swashburglar and Undercity “Wanna buy some funnel cake?” are rotating out, so what’s the point of this?

My dick has been split in two upon seeing this card. Guess Druid had too much glory last standard rotation, time to to nerf he crap out of it by giving him literally the worst cards.

I actually think this is decent because it has Rush, you decide its outcome right away.
You trade into a 3-Mana, kill it, this survives and buffs itself. It puts pressure on the board. If the opponent doesn’t have hard removal. They have to either play a big enough minion to make sure it dies next turn or they can’t play small minions.
Win-Win for me.
