Because minions have to untap for bloodlust. Doppel evolve makes minions survive the turn for bloodlust.

It also delays your own development for a turn or they can just trade the minion giving your enemy a free turn to take the board. Not saying it’s terrible but the corrupting mist downside is pretty large.

Doppel just has better winrates across the board so I’m not going to bother. Just curious.

Let’s slower versions play the crabs as 1 ofs and still be able to tutor for them.

It’s a secret eater. If it cuts back on the number of people playing combo too much then it’s not worth playing and people are free to play combo again once it’s no longer used.

The problem is this is a value card that you don’t want to slam on 3 but it turns into a patches in hand once you naturally draw your Tirion.

This card gets it’s effect immediately. Apprentice has to untap to get it’s effect if you play it on curve.

Why would you run this over the quest? It seems like you pick 1 or the other since they overlap terribly.

Definitely would make sense if you got 3 5-drops.

Valet is a good comparison since neither card is a 2 drop that you are slamming on curve.
