Eating your own pirate is just a net gain of a 2 mana 2/3 and golakka gets stranded if you only have bigger pirates on board.

Between average impact when summoned and average cost of the little dude for evolve Barnes is almost a strictly worse version of Jade Spirit.

Just removing Aya from the deck drops the winrate by over 3%. For comparison removing Tarim from murloc pally only drops the winrate by 1%.

Every time I run into Tar Creepers in the mirror I get smashed. Is cutting Stonehills for Tar Creepers to guarantee totem value and tempo a thing?

If you are strapped Southsea does a lot of fun stuff like taking out totems with weapon in the mirror and is actually pretty close. Bloodsail is very slightly better imo though.

2nd most powerful card in standard right now after patches. The only problem is she’s only used in a few decks.

Also echoing a bunch of random 6-drops isn’t that strong and with all the chip damage that this deck starts with just ending the game with bloodlust is way more powerful than echo.

The deck doesn’t have a lot of room for tech choices. Most common cuts are 1 of the devolves, 1 of the bloodlusts or both of the stonehills but all of them come with big consequences.

Most token druids run hydras now but yea it seems weird.

Master of evolution seems better than witchdoctor.

or since the dire wolves and bloodlusts overlap maybe 1 echo, 1 bloodlust and 1 master of evo or something.

Everyone jokes but 2 echo does seem like overkill. Could be interesting to try with 1 echo and 2 bloodlust.

I tried hydras a while back and decided I was never playing them in a deck that takes 15 damage smashing stuff with weapons again.
