The combination of overload on aoe is just terrible. Overload is overpaying for tempo and aoe is never a tempo play. The stats back it up and have for a long long time. If you play aoe with overload on it your deck has a terrible win rate.

Shaman aoe sucks.

A 2/3 alone is as good as 3 1/1s. The poisonous is just icing and amazing icing at that. You play snakes if you have a way to buff them.

I wouldn’t

I must have missed the devolves at first glance. Those fill in for silence nicely. Just slightly worse than earth shock against lackeys and way better against pally which I kind of like. My bad.

I think I like it better with rockbiter/doomhammer instead of the manatide/tfb.

I kind of feel like archivist is old meta and doesn’t address what is going on in this meta’s late game. I like cutting the archivist and ambers for a scream and 2 shadow priests.

I swear venomstrike is simply better than snake trap just about every time.

I couldn’t justify crafting inquisitors at this point so I crafted a level up instead. That’s something I never imagined I’d be saying.

That’s true for anything over 1k legend but the sheer amount you need to climb to hit #1 is mind boggling and definitely requires every bit of effort.

What other inner fire effect would you swap it for?

I’ve tried it. Spellstone cost is having to keep it in your opening hand, playing down a card for the pivotal turns and then just discarding it every time before you really want to use it.

Mistress of mixtures. This version is a little heavy.

This deck is the counter to warlock and that matchup is super complicated.
