The meta is super greedy right now.

I think if you run spiteful then guldan is necessary. Also would be interesting to see if doom is worth it or just run siphon as the only spells.

Interesting. I hadn’t looked at the stats for agro druid specifically. Was just remembering back in the zoo lists where running 1 or the other was better.

The taunts let you go wide even against agro to get value out of your buffs.

You only play hydra in decks with lots of minions. It’s like a big flappy bird. You need to have the board for it to be any good but if you do it ends the game.

Swarm gives more flexibility. 1/2 poisonous minions almost effectively have taunt anyway.

Never been a huge fan of running captain and corsair in the same deck. The stats are usually better when you choose 1 or the other. Is the penguin still pretty good instead?

Hydra is harder to clear than scalebane overall and doesn’t require another minion to be on board which is tough post turn 5.

Wonder how much the dude hurts you in the agro mirrors.

1 mana less than shadowflame. That’s the shadowflame section.

That’s a completely different deck and you need insane value with grumble and spirit echo bouncing back jade generators if you want to justify playing volcanos. Half the deck probably changes.

Dire mole, primalfin totem, 2nd firefly.

You have that backwards. Cutting all your early game doesn’t make your early game stronger. Eventually drawing keleseth makes your end game stronger.

The purple cards.

Even if you whiff on a voidlord or whatever turn 8 with archivist hitting amber and them being able to kill it off before archivist goes off again you just shrug it off and try to grab a couple of the next 3.

There’s no rush though. This deck can easily hang with almost anything into the mid teen turns and save a mind control for the perfect target.

I’m not sure the deck needs silence. Mind control works great already on the high priority silence targets being played right now (voidlord, valanyr, etc)

Nice writeup. I like cutting the glimmerroots for mistress of mixtures to help with agro. The deck has plenty of gas if you can get there and even outvalues most locks. Plus glimmerroot has pretty terrible win% stats in the deck.

Historian is duskbreaker 3 and 4 🙂
