Correct. We at least got 50-60 gold a day during quests before. I could earn several a week. Supposedly events will grant more XP but we don’t know when those are coming. Notably there are four slots on both weekly and daily quest rows but i have only seen a maximum of three of course. Team 5 has a habit of launching stuff to see how it works in the meta (Shudderwock, Demon Hunter Initiate) so maybe they will continue tweaking. Once i started getting into the 20s though it became obvious to me (and any other player) that this was a step down and a slower reward trickle from before.

Everything is gonna be up in the air for a couple of weeks because the whole meta just shifted. Calm down, wait for it to settle and then learn to tech/hate whatever is killing you. Certainly more productive than venting here.

Nice to see Shaman with something playable and – even if i hate playing against it, Control Warlock seems to be back in some form thanks to Tickatus. I had a Rogue deck get rolled by it!

Weird question: has anyone else had better luck than normal with legendaries? I got four legends (not counting the progression freebie) in my 35 packs and two of them were gold. Seriously. Not complaining of course!

Another fun note for newbies:

The Rogue deck’s legendaries are dual class so you are STILL getting something for Mage and Warrior collections.

If you were Bamboozled, it’s be evolving into something that costs 3 more. Nyuk nyuk nyuk. That’s a Dad joke. Get used to giving them.

Eclipse synergy they are building I mean. Clarification.

In a ramp Druid deck this would work well. But where is there Druid ramp right now? Certainly doesn’t jibe with the “Eclipse” synergy they have. It would work well with Lorekeeper Polkelt but i have to agree with what was previously said: that’s a lot of work for a single extra card draw.

Control Shaman is interesting at least, even if it just to counter much of the meta. I feel Fist of Ra-Den can be replaced with another Squallhunter or even Vulpera Scoundrel. Had it and earned it in Dragons but dusted it because random Legendaries can be trash.

Ah nevermind, you’d have to run more expensive cards. But it certainly belongs in a control deck. I like it better than classic C’thun honestly.

This and Lorekeeper Polkelt. Just saying. Might make for a mean control deck.

You have to have done at least one game in each (even conceding immediately) since the Hallow’s End event began. Seriously i just did it in five minutes (you should have already got a free Arena ticket for the event).

Oh come on now – Totem Shaman isn’t that PFFFFT BwA HA HA! Boy – couldn’t keep a straight face on that one.

Maybe next set they will give us some Spell Damage cards that aren’t dogshit.

It will still be cheaper. Those split legendaries are still playable by two classes. Just not AS cheap.

One thing I wouldn’t mind seeing is a “Pauper” format sort of like MTG. Only allow basics, commons and rares – I think that would accommodate both veteran and newer players while not putting either at a particular advantage/disadvantage competitively. Common and rare power levels are fairly high in Wild so it could be interesting. Just my two cents.

Question – in Wild, if you use Carnivorous Cube on this, do the copies resummon the minions with the buffs?

Scargil is essential when your board gets cleared, which happens a lot. Soul of the Murloc does that but he is a good reload tool. He is also a 4/4 body so he tends to stick better than the other Murlocs. I do agree with two Toxfins and Leeroy though – the removal and extra reach helps.

My God….. I am stealing that idea.

Playing a (mildly) budget version of this and Mechs have some promise for Warrior. Even the app’s deck recipe has some teeth. I lucked out pulling Dr. Boom and already have Lich King. I know Zilliax is a good bet – but that 4-drop Coppertail Impostor is worth a spot. HAving STealth on your Magnetic threats is great tech against Silence and hard removal.

This could, actually. Mountain Giant is one of the meta’s most popular epics. This means you can fish him with Servant of Kalimos. Either way it’s good news for Elementals. NOw classes besides Thrall and Jaina will have a big baddie for Elemental synergy.
