The main thing about this card is that it gives strong control cards to classes which lack them by design (e.g. Rogue)

I doesn’t seem like a super strong card, but who cares, it’s gonna be a fun card and that’s what most of us need the most.

Not only do you have to randomly draw into all four of these pieces AND play them, you have to then draw into c’thun itself. All of these cards are below average along with diluting your draws for actually good cards. If you can afford to drop 20 mana worth of not very good cards after drawing them, you have already won the game.

C’thun itself is obviously really strong, but it’s so unbelievably slow and “win-more”.

Overall, 1/5. Just play chef nomi if you’re expecting to draw a lot of cards and you want a big finisher.

I think this is actually perfect for spell mage (aka No-Minion mage)

it splits into 4 spells at the start of game, so it doesn’t screw up your no-minion cards like Apexis Blast
and you can then use Incanter’s Flow to reduce the C’thun spells to 4 or even 3 mana.

Galakrond Rogue with Secret Passage and Stowaway (plenty of draw to get to the pieces), or Quest Warlock with Willow to pull demons out of the way, are the two decks that seem like they could add this right now without much tinkering. Will be interesting to see if the Darkmoon set has any good support cards for these concepts.

So, whenever Kronx retires to the WIld Format, now we have our next best thing, expect not ecatly.
It’s a mix between Kronx and that one Control Demon Card that discards your enemy’s entire deck, if you pay all the Feldemons.

    The Maw is just Assassinate,
The Body is kinda a Reanimated Dragon, expect not really, becuase you need to spend 5 Mana for it.
But a 5 Mana 6/6, escpially for Pre-TUrn 10 ain’t so bad, but at Turn 10+ It’s just a fine card. Some might even say that the Body is considered Filler, becuase it’s just a body that you throw out, and it protects you.

The Heart is good for Removal, escpially against token or anti-aggro at times
ANd lastly, the Eye, Which it probably the weakest in my opinion, But, I think if you give it some Spell power then it’s not so bad. I would prefer if you could play the Eye for Pressure, more then you would to remove minions,

    10/10 would minigun again.

    Overall:

    Eye is 3 Stars
    Heart is 4 Stars
    Body is 4 Stars
    and Maw is 3 Stars

However C’Thun himself with his Battlecry is pretty much a Hero execution (Not always, but Basically), which is automatically 5 Stars.

You can also try to use this to deal with those pesky rez priests that we all love to hate, as long as you play the waiting game along with him.

Unlike other “draw your deck and win” cards, this one makes your deck 34 cards and then doesn’t even guarantee a win. Remains to be seen how good this is.

I can see this in a combo demon hunter. The deck is basically C’thun, Pokelt, 2 skull of guldans and every other card is 4 or less mana. After playing Pokelt, you draw C’thun then draw a skull of guldan into three 2 mana shattered pieces. Seems pretty easy to pull off the combo from there.
You could maybe even include C’thun in an aggro demon hunter for an extra win condition.

If you play C’thun then the pieces reshuffle your deck so the draws from Skull are not guaranteed. Still DH has quite enough draw to pull the combo.

You’d also need to draw C’thun itself after you’ve played all the pieces of C’thun and C’thun is shuffled into your deck. So I’d go for a Gadgetzan Auctioneer build, to cycle through all the cheap spells in your deck to get to C’thun.

Since it’s a miracle build though, maybe you could include other end-game finishers too like Chef Nomi.

    The big question here is:
Will example Beckoner of Evil buff this new C’thun or will it just buff the old one?

This and Lorekeeper Polkelt. Just saying. Might make for a mean control deck.

Ah nevermind, you’d have to run more expensive cards. But it certainly belongs in a control deck. I like it better than classic C’thun honestly.

Might as well have a highlander auto include on it. A few extra tools in the box plus a possible win condition? Sounds like a blast.

I don’t think I agree. Highlander’s biggest issue is that you sacrifice powerful 2-ofs for 2 1-ofs, so you have to play worse cards and see your good cards less often. C’Thun shuffles 4 bad cards into your deck, so you’re now even less likely to see your important 1-ofs.

Stowaway would like to know your location

Obviously this would only go into extremely grindy control decks that can afford to have 5 extra cards for the rest of the match. Obviously Warrior, but maybe has a home in Priest or Shaman as well. And for Wild, we’ll have to see whether C’thun triggers before or after Baku, as this could be an option to experiment with for Odd Warrior.

Seems easier to make this work than regular C’Thun.

It’s going to fit perfectly into Control Shaman. It’s actually feels like that last jigsaw piece, the win condition that Control Shaman lacked for soo long. The 4 5-mana spells will work great with Groundkeeper, and might up number of big spells to make use of Vashj Prime and even King Phaoris. Include Lorekeeper Polkelt for consistent C’thun draw

Have this in a rouge deck with Stowaway and instantly draw 2 pieces

I don’t wanna play a 34 cards deck. Even if the reward is crazy I don’t think it’s worth it. Maybe he could see play in a slow meta when you can use it to absolutely demolish control mirror, but I don’t see any other way.

    Cool idea , mediocre design.

Custom made card for Control Warrior. Because this is the deck that can tank 30 dmg and use this card as a main win con at the same time. Because Alex + this will kill most decks

How does it “break into pieces”?

    • Scarecrow72
      October 22, 2020 at 9:15 am

It’s a way of saying that it shuffles those 4 cards into your deck, and when you play all of them, C’Thun generates in your hand I guess

      • H0lysatan
        October 22, 2020 at 9:28 am

shuffles 4 cards at the start, and if you play all 4 of that cards, shuffles Yogg again with Battlecry : Deal 30 damage bla bla bla.

        • H0lysatan
          October 22, 2020 at 9:38 am

One can hope to get C’Thun from card generation, so to skip all the unnecessary shuffles and play it immediately when your mana is enough. Like from discover legendary Rogue card.

If there was a card like that, that would probably be hotfixed in three seconds.
