It’s a better time than ever for budget players. Yeah there are some high power builds out there but all the free Legendaries (many of which are surprisingly decent) have made building budget decks, especially for classes you may not like, easier. I am very happy with the new Core Set. Honestly it was time for a refresh.

Xyrella is all i am missing in this deck but I am not sure if this is worth a craft yet. Sucky thing is she’s really the only AOE clear for Priest right now that doesn’t depend on board state (Hysteria requires a strong creature for a clear and Soul Mirror requires the right mirror match).

Expect either Deck of Lunacy or Refreshing Spring Water to get nerfed.

I think Far Watch Post will be nerfed. It is difficult to interact with and greatly slows down the opponent. I inadvertently queued a match in Wild with my Deathrattle Demon Hunter and rolled a mage who by all logic should have creamed me just because i dropped this turn 2. It certainly feels a bit meta-warping.

Well that explains why i just got awarded 4400 dust out of nowhere. I was wondering why the hell i got Inquisitor Whitemane from that Classic bundle.

Yeah it worked for me after removing goldens. You may have to queue a couple of times but it is working. Worked in Standard, Casual and Duels for me.

Excellent article. I find Discover to be way weaker in Wild (obviously due to the larger card pool). Any math on that yet?

Had a big crash today. It’s a pretty bug patch so I’m not surprised there’s some kinks.

Same bug. Also received gold cards and they are not in my set, same with the Demon Hunter pack. My guess is they will hotfix it soon.

I was confused about that too. I am at 36 right now and did not notice a change.

While I feel the DH nerfs are warranted, i feel a round of buffs is needed as well for some underperforming classes. Warlock has been stuck with Zoo pretty much all year, Priest is a joke right now unless you like long control matches because many of the decks at tier 1 outpace it. I also feel i am seeing way less Mages on the ladder right now.

However, very glad to see nerfs to Warlock and DH in Duels – DH matches feel even less interactive there and let’s be honest, Killmox was broken.

Interesting. Haven’t seen anyone really utilize Whirlkick Master much – seems like a good value engine for this deck. How are you faring against tier 1 decks?

Weird question: i have Soul Mirror and Psychic Scream and am running Scream. What would be your argument for/against running Soul Mirror as well? I only ask because opponents that run wide can be a problem for this in my experience.

I am amazed to not see an Odd Paladin in the list. The ladder is flooded with them.
