I am not sure this fits in Darkglare. In Handlock or Reno? Certainly. I also agree this will be strong (Corridor Creeper anyone?) especially since Backfire is a thing. Realistically though that means you can’t drop this until Turn 4 at earliest. And there’s one copy. It depends on how the Standard meta rolls out but i bet Wild decks are glad to have it.

I know one thing: someone in Wild who plays Rogue will try this and people will hate on it way too hard. But it will be hilarious when it actually wins.

Darkglare Warlock will get a kick of this questline in Wild.

Oh hell, i forgot that card exists sometimes. But during OG Frozen Throne, man oh man. And that campaign in general – i still hear “Bonestorm” in my nightmares.

This card will be nasty in Wild. I can already see the Reno Priest theorycrafts now. Mwa ha ha!

It will see play. The Plaguelands flightpath is slow but works well in control (duh) like Priest. Versatile to an extent, but not overpowered.

It’s a challenging card but it can win the game in the right scenario or at least, steal a wincon. You have to know the opponent’s deck and the meta though. For instance, if you’re playing against a C’Thun the Shattered-based control deck, you could use Illucia to waste their C’Thun cards, making their wincon impossible to get. Or if you’re playing against Spell Mage and anticipating a Mask of C’Thun, flip and burn it. But it is easy to screw up and must be used wisely.

I don’t say that to be mean – I say that because I love Shaman. I just felt the class could use some focus when i made that comment – though it’s amazing how one card has changed everything with the last meta shift. I also really really want a deck that can use Ras Frostwhisper.

Have to agree. Really enjoying seeing some new faces. I for one would love a Scabbs Cutterbutter portrait. No offense to Valeera/Maiev.

Great info but it was a bit light around tier 2 (i understand tier 1 is optimal, but luck doesn’t always pan that way).

I would love to see a drafting guide for Arena class-by-class – it’s a totally different ballgame than Standard/Wild and even Duels deckbuilding and would love to see more of that. I saw plenty of good suggestions in the article though – would just like more. Keep up the good work.

Sure does. Got some from Wild and Standard packs. I believe it ALSO counts on those “Year of the Pheonix” packs too. I would assume this also counts for class packs but you can’t but those straight up.

Good riddance. I hated that deck. I play Darkglare Warlock anyways which – while powerful – has obvious flaws. Wild is lopsided enough for many classes as-is.

Curious – what are you running? I have had some luck with Aggro Shaman with a good mulligan but it feels handicapped to me. The class seems all over the place right now and Wild is just as bad unless you go Murlocs – and that’s a tier 2 deck at best. This isn’t me being a smartass – i love Shaman and wonder what is working for others.

Yeah Shaman is a dumpster fire right now. They need to just buff the whole class at this point.
