Deck Import

This deck was pretty easy to put together: I just used all of Warlock’s even removal coupled with some good cards at the mana costs. Obviously you want to tap a lot, which powers up your Hooked Reavers into 4 mana 7/7s, and makes your hand big enough for cheap Mountain Giants. Sea Giant is here because it gets out of hand really quickly with Glinda Crowskin

Card Choices

2 Cost Cards

Curse of Weakness: Helps your survive against aggro or live another turn against Cubelock, giving you time to draw a way to deal with their Gul’dan swing.

Defile: One of the best removal tools ever printed, needs no introduction.

Gnomeferatu: Solid 2 drop and good basically whenever you play her. Also synergizes well with Glinda Crowskin in the late game.

Vulgar Homunculus: Great 2-drop and helps power your Spellstone.

4 Cost Cards

Hellfire: No slow Warlock deck would be worth its salt without this card.

Hooked Reaver: You’re going to deal a lot of damage to yourself. Hooked Reaver makes this slightly better for you.

Lesser Amethyst Spellstone: Still solid even if this list only has 2 activators.

Saronite Chain Gang: A bit of a flex card, Saronite helps you survive against aggro.

6 Cost Cards

Genn Greymane: Pretty self explanatory, this one.

Glinda Crowskin: Solid legendary that gives you some potent late game punch with Gnomeferatu, Sea Giant, and even Saronite and Hooked Reaver if she survives for a turn.

Mossy Horror: Another flex card, Mossy Horror is okay and pairs well with Curse of Weakness, but could easily be cut for better things (Maybe Dread Infernal?).

Rin, the First Disciple: A solid win condition against slower decks, and replaces itself in your hand, so drawing Mountain Giant isn’t as bad. Also gives you some more demons for Gul’dan.

Siphon Soul: Great single target removal.

8+ Cost Cards

Twisting Nether: Great board clear, a staple in any slow Warlock deck.

Bloodreaver Gul'dan: Slightly worse here since we only run 4 demons (plus whatever Rin gets us), but only by a little.

Sea Giant: Synergizes well with Glinda and is okay, but this is another card that just might not be good enough and could be replaced.

Mountain Giant: You’re putting a ton of cards in your hand, why wouldn’t you play this?

Obviously, this list isn’t super refined and we won’t know what works well until the set actually drops. Other cards I’m considering are DoomsayerBaleful BankerTwilight Drake, and Dread Infernal.

Off the top of my head, I would play Drakes. Sunfury protector, Argus, Lich King.
Super old, but I think Ancient Watcher might fit here with the Sunfury/Argus package.

Going back to Doomsayer instead of Curse of Weakness wouldn’t be bad, either.

It seems that Sea Giant has anti-synergy with parts of the deck. If you want to play Sea Giants, I would play that 4 mana swarm card to better abuse cheap giant cost.
To best abuse Glinda, you want powerful battlecries. Problem is, I can’t really think of any we can readily abuse.

Bit crazy too, but maybe we could even play bloodbloom, to allow faster access to twisting nether or even doom if necessary.

Some other way to heal too would be amazing.
I think that the Mossy Horror is way too slow.

    Core:

    2 Defile
    2 Twilight Drake
    2 Mountain Giant
    2 Sunfury Protector

    + 2 Summoning Portal
    +
+ Lich King, One of the best 8’s, and we can run him
    + Swamp Ooze, Tech Slot

    – 2 Mossy Horror ( I think it’s too slow.)

The Mossy Horror combo will probably be too slow, but I think it’s something I’ll experiment with. The Lich King is good, and going with some more old school Handlock cards could be cool too. Honestly not sure how I feel about Summoning Portal, I guess it helps abuse Glinda but idk. Glinda might not even make the cut, and the Sea Giants will probably be the first to go.

Bloodbloom could be fun, but it doesn’t activate spellstone which kinda sucks.
