Deck Import

Hi everyone!

I don´t have much legendaries, so I build around what I have – and this one is the most fun deck I got 😀

It perfectly fits my playstyle of beeing aggressive while maintaining a bit of flexibility during gameplay. Got to level 15 fairly easily.

As you don´t have any taunt minions (just through mutation) you want board control early on. Play Aggro against Aggro decks – and hope for good draws – they tend to overwhelm you, for board clearing of tiny minions is a bit of a problem in the early stage. Also you have problems with enemies that just snap fingers and the board is cleared.. aka mage.. You have some late game options, but you usually don´t want to get that far…

Going through cards – I know, you know them all 🙂

Perfect starter in most cases. Let´s you benefit the Razormaw mutation early on.

Safety Card – for something is really in your way…

I discovered this card just yesterday, and it´s already permanent in the deck. This one is really random. From ten times playing, I got 4x legendaries, 4x epic and 2x uncommon beasts… only one card was “meh”.. the others had opened options not available otherwise… this card really adds a positive randomness in your strategy…

Board Control & Hyena feed – if you get it late, play it with Starving Buzzard

Excellent with Hounds, Mastiff, and the Lynx party

Very good Card. Mutate your most valuable cards: Hyena and Vicious Fledgling. If you have no beast on board it is mostly better to still play it.. better to lose mutation than board control. One of the Card where you should maybe use Dire Frenzy on..

Kill enemy minions with it. Face damage is mostly up to the beasts.

Sort of late game card. Has the ability to regain board control and is good feed for the Hyena. Good Combo with revenge of the wild.

This card wins your battles. A ton of cheap buffed rush beasts being reborn to attack again…

One of your game win options. Don´t be afraid to lose one early one, but the second should probably be buffed with Dire Frenzy in one turn… It´s not uncommon to deal the finishing blow with a 20+ attack Hyena…

just very good cards. Taunt, buff or charge beast.. you tend to always get what you just needed…

Overall solid card. Very good against spell casters early on

Silence is always good. Only play if you really must.. Silence gets stronger the further into the battle. Sometimes this card silences the last taunt minion blocking the way to victory. bad draw early…

Stealth is a good way to keep a minion alive and regain board control the next turn… I also tested with two of those..

This is also one of the Cards that keeps you in game. I tried alot with non-beast minions and without this card.. but in the end I think you gain more with a beast deck and this.

Situational. sometimes completly useless, sometimes epic. Good synergy with Starving Buzzard.

This card is just epic. If you manage to play and keep one alive early on this wins you the round. If there is a possibilty on using Dire Frenzy on one – do it.

Had only recently added these to the set.. some think they are too slow etc.. but they also got the ability to win the game. A buffed Hyena, Vicous Fledgling, Razormaw on board and three BUFFED ones in your deck to play later is a possible victory path if your opponent seems to always have the right answer in your early game. edit: ditched one to make space for Jeweled Macaw..

There it is, the Deck namer. Overall it is not a very good legendary – but immensly fun to play – he is there for you when your hands run out of cards and you need just another few turns to come up with another idea. I only play it on 5 mana when i have the crystal, because you want to play one lynx with him so you don´t destroy your next draw because of full hands. Exzellent synergy with Starving Buzzard or Revenge of the wild. Always keep a Timber Wolf for the Lynx Party.

Very bad draw in early game. But this is the Card that will give you another path to victory when everything already failed. “Only” play when you can at least play 3 beasts with it…

Yah, that´s it, what you think of it?

Interesting Cards I played with:

maybe switch it for a timber wolf? or the cave hydra for more opening control?

Good card… but it shifts the control even more to a later game

Also had two of these in the deck for some time.. you´ll have some interesting options and playing 4/3 lynxes is fun but also a lot of times you just wanted another beast instead of it… also it is not a beast card so there could be a break with the Master´s Call benefit..

This one really interests me. I have not created it yet. I really want to know how this works out with all the lynxes 🙂

This is actually a really good card… the only letdown, thus why it is not in the deck is, that it is not a beast card and may compromise the Master´s Call… still.. thinking of swapping a springpaw with this and hope to draw it early out of the deck….

I have tested this one… and while it can be extremly fun, most of the times you don´t have the mana to run needed combos…

Played with two of these also… Fun, but you are too heavily dependend on Starving Buzzard and its card draw ability, since you can not run Master´s Call properly anymore

Fun Card. Not overly powerful. But since you don´t have much board clear abilities this multistrike thing can be handy..

I also crafted it yesterday 🙂
I ditched both of the Jeweled Macaw, since stampede is basically what this card does…
Overall I´m not sure yet.. The big unknown is, when do you get this card… at my games it was sometimes late in the deck.. and if it was early it still takes some time to utilize this.. cause I wanted to at least play 3-4 cards with it.. – I lost some games cause I waited too long for the perfect moment..

Sometimes a few more healthpoints would have won me the game, so I did another change and swapped one Macaw and the Panther for two life givers: Lifedrinker

I also changed the Starving Buzzard to Tundra Rhino – I had the feeling that I was drawing too many cards, and Tundra Rhinos charge ability is very nice in certain situations

So yeah, perfect scenario would be:
draw Halazzi during 3-5 mana period using Master´s Call.
        Play Halazzi on 6 Mana
        Play Stampede on 7 Mana
