Your English is fine, and I would expect you may have until the end of time to collect 2000 gold. But don’t quote me on that.

no idea how long they will leave the option to buy the Mini-set for 2000 G in the shop [or wherever].
The New Reward Experience System resets at the next Expansion so try to atleast get to level 50 and claim those rewards before April. (it could be earlier or later than that though)

On the leaked post earlier, the bundle will last thru until May 11th. In fact, that leaked info was true, so trust me on this. *wink wink*

Ok but what do I do with my current 12 packs I saved up? Should I still wait till expansion to open them?

If you are going to buy the new cards then it doesn’t really matter. All the epics and legendary will be exclusive locked or what it’s called so you will still open the same epics and legendaries either way.

If you have 2000 G or more and plan to buy the mini-set with it, you can just open them now or after you buy the mini-set. Just don’t open after them after the mini-set goes live and you haven’t bought it yet.

How worth is it? Does spending 2000 gold give you more value than 20 packs on average? I would guess so, as there are a lot of legendaries, more than you would get in 20 packs.

Yes, it’s definitely more worth it to buy it with 2k gold than 20 packs.

The dust value is only 300-500 better with the bundle, so if for some reason a player really hates these legendaries they could open packs before the patch. Buying packs post patch will only be equivalent if you also pick up the bundle.

Well 2000 gold it’s less of the usual 2400 of an adventure, yes there isn’t no pve this time but it’s a good deal.

If you buy the entire set, do you get 2 copies of commons, rares and epics?

      January 19, 2021 at 12:54 pm

Yes, you get a full playset of everything (so 2 Commons, 2 Rares, 2 Epics & 1 Legendary).

Hi All, my reward track already level 103, if i buy tavern pass now, my level still at level 103 or increase the level up?
    please advise.

Tavern Pass is not retroactive. You’ll stay level 103.

You will be at the same level – only the XP you gained after you bought it (and claimed the boosts) will get increased.

That’s why it’s worth to buy it right after a new rewards track, not mid-expansion. It might still be okay, because you should still get like at least 1-1.5k more gold from XP boost + all the cosmetics, but it’s up to you.

Does it make sense to just buy the whole set, or is it better to just get card packs/open the ones I’ve saved up, and keep stockpiling gold for the next expansion?

I guess that depends on how the rarity will be devided. On 10 packs you should get 2 epics, and all rares and commons from the set. So you pay mostly for the guaranteed legendaries. If there are only 2 it wont be worth it, if there are 4 and especially if they are played, it might be worth spending the gold.

Seeing that there’s at least 2 legendaries (and I bet there’ll be 4 just like in Galakrond’s Awakening) it’s 100% better to buy the set for 2000 gold

        • Noelle
          January 19, 2021 at 8:41 am

There’s another new legendary we see in the first few seconds of the trailer, we just don’t get to see the card text. So there probably is 4.

I have 13 packs lying around, so you’re telling me I should get most/all commons and rares, maybe a couple of epics, and potentially a legendary?

          January 19, 2021 at 9:15 am

I don’t have all of the original darkmoon faire cards either. If I use the 2k gold, how much time will I have to save up again before the next set?

          January 19, 2021 at 9:16 am

WIth 13 packs you won’t even get all Rares. Probably all Commons, but it depends on how many of them are in the set. Then 2-3 Epics and 0 Legendaries on average (unless you get lucky).

Open your packs now and buy the mini-set for 2000 gold, much better deal.

    • ReeceGamingx
      January 19, 2021 at 8:35 am

There was rumours there is 4 new legendry’s. So, with good luck you’ll get a legendary every 20-25 packs. So it is definitely better to get the whole set in a one’r.

    • Stonekeep - Site Admin
      January 19, 2021 at 8:40 am

2k gold is definitely a more efficient way to get the entire set than packs. Even with just 2 Legendaries, you would need to get EXTREMELY lucky to get both of them in 20 packs (and that’s assuming you already have all of the previous Darkmoon Legendaries, otherwise you could unpack some of those).

But lots of players already hoarded packs, so for them it might be worth it more to get it from packs (e.g. I have 50+ DF packs lol).

P.S. We’ll have an article about the economic side of the mini-set, probably tomorrow!

Considering two Legendaries have already been revealed, it seems like it will make a lot more sense to just buy the set. I have 25 unopened packs that had just been waiting for the mini-set, but it looks like I’ll spend 2000 gold instead and get normal Darkmoon Faire cards from those.
