High Legend Hearthstone Decks for Standard in Mid-June 2016 (Season 27)

We brought you #1 Legend Decks mid-season last month, and now we’re bringing you some high legend decks for this season. If you’re looking for even more decks, you should check out the Deck Lists from the Asia-Pacific Spring Championship!

The following lists are decks that have made top 100 on the Legendary ladder during Season 27. I am aware that it’s the middle of the season, so there stands the chance that these decks won’t be there at the end, but it’s hard to say that any deck that makes it to top 100 legend isn’t an effective list. When available, I’ve also included a VOD of each player playing the deck so you can get an idea of how the deck works.

TheDacianWolf's C'Thun Druid
C’Thun Druid continues to make waves at the top of the meta (SilentStorm finished #2 Legend last season with the deck), after an initial fall it is back and stronger than ever. It’s interesting how Druid has continued to remain a presence on the ladder even after significant nerfs to the class. It has C’Thun and Token/Yogg-Saron at its disposal which just shows how strong cards like Innervate and Wild Growth can be.

Hotform's Yogg Tempo Mage
Hotform is no stranger to placing highly on the ladder, but the deck he did it with is a bit of a surprise: Tempo Mage has always been kind of an inconsistent deck, but when it clicks, it becomes very hard to beat. You’d think having an inconsistent deck would make you steer clear of a card like Yogg-Saron, Hope's End, but the card is just too good at swinging games back in your favor.

wiRer's Dragon Warrior
Not a lot left to say about the Warrior class,  as it’s super strong and has many legend viable decks. This deck in particular is pretty greedy and runs both Deathwing and Deathwing, Dragonlord along with three 9-cost legendary Dragons.

Senfglas' Midrange Hunter
Hunter continues its revenge tour.  It was counted out early on, but it turns out being able to beat most Warrior decks makes up for its not-so-great Shaman matchup. A similar version of Midrange Hunter claimed the #1 spot on the NA Ladder in Season 26!

AKAWonder's C'Thun Renolock
Herudra used AKAWonder’s C’Thun Renolock to reach all the way up to Rank 7 on the legendary ladder. You have two main options with Renolock: you can play the more standard version, like Thijs did at the EU Championship, or go with this C'Thun version that performed quite well for Herudra.

SuperJJ's Yogg-N-Load Hunter
Yogg-N-Load Hunter is kind of a sneaky good deck. It’s not played a large amount, but it can do some work on the ladder if you can learn the intricacies of the deck. If you’re curious about this kind of deck, check out BigTallGuy’s Guide of Yogg-N-Load Hunter.
