Beats the pants off of face hunter…pretty good win rate against the current meta. Spiteful summoning a 2 mana minion is a bit of a letdown though…

Toki is just a value generator for Control matchups that might not even make the cut in final versions of the deck. You could probably just replace it with e.g. the Lich King.

Pyros is a bit more difficult. It works as a 2-drop but also generates incredible value. You should probably replace them with two defensively-statted 2-drops that can help you fight for the board vs aggro, but I’m not sure the deck is worth playing without those cards. I fail to see how it’s better than Spiteful Druid or Spiteful Priest without those tools.

I took out one Swamp ooze and one Sunfury Protector and added one Saronite Chaingang and one Ice Walker…the Ice Walker has been absolute money

I’ve really been liking this deck so far. I made the following changes and have been winning in most match-ups (Rank 5-10 range):

    -2 Sunfury Protector
    -2 Mad Hatter
    -1 Swamp Ooze
    -1 Scaleworm
    -1 Toki, Time-Tinker

    +2 Saronite Chaingang
    +2 Arcane Keysmith
    +2 Direwolf Alpha
    +1 Lich King

Book of Specters + Archmage Arugal and/or Mountain Giant is an absolutely bonkers combo. I think it’s possible this deck may also want a copy or 2 of Flamestrike to give the Spiteful Summoners another decent target.
