    Playing this deck, I realized why HS is not taken seriously as an e-sport. I literally played mirror matches where I would draw both UIs in the first 5 turns, and my opponent is playing spiteful summoners drawing out giants. Nothing you can do, no skill or outmaneuvering required. On the other side of the coin, I played a Cubelock deck and happened to top deck Harrison Jones the turn after he played Skull of the Man’ari. I certainly am not arrogant enough to believe I “outplayed” him. I had a 1 in 21 chance of pulling that card and did, and won because of it. Not even a satisfying victory.

    Anyway to this deck specifically, I removed Archivist and put in a Spreading Plague. Unless you pull Keleseth early, this deck gets steamrolled by all the paladins out there. SP slows that a bit, but I may also swap out Mindbreaker and add another Saronite. Mindbreaker is such a niche tech, bu the time you play it against paladin they have a board full of recruits anyway.

    Can someone either explain grand archivist or recommend a replacement? I just don’t get how it would work good in this deck because the random targets might make it deal 5 damage to a friendly character and then of it stays alive wouldn’t you overdraw?

      It`s very situational and I considered replacing it myself. However, you often run low on cards because you have many low cost cards and with the extra mana from GS. I play it when I am low on cards and have one UI in hand.

          Drake’s pretty good and even better if it gets hit by Keleseth.

          Archivist is hit and miss can easily be rotated.

          Yagut made some changes since this list was posted;

          -1 Druid of the Scythe
          +1 Gluttonous Ooze

          I took that pretty easy to rank 3.

          He’s made some additional changes I believe -2 MC Tech and +2 Mindbreaker and maybe a Leeroy I didn’t see his stream but heard him mention it.

          Yeah, you usually get a good twillight drake in the early game. In the midgame it might be difficult, but it`s okay to hold on to a dragon since you need dragon synergy anyways. It`s the only deck I`ve tried since the release, but it has worked out fine for me so far. That been said, most games have been in dumpster rank. Played it from rank 18-6. Been struggling against Shaman though. Shudder Shaman is a pain in the ass for this deck at least.

        Amazing deck, very solid. I just stick Lich King instead of Malfurion DK for now !
