Mulligans
General Mulligans
You'll want to be on the lookout for these cards when choosing what to mulligan because you spend your first turn playing the quest make it so on turn two Hogsteed and Springpaw make incredible choices since you'll be able to get two summons on your quest for the price of just one card. When you think you are in for a longer more drawn out game however looking for something like snake trap to trigger your Hyena Alpha in the future is also a really strong idea. Holding on to Timber Wolf an Dire Wolf Alpha will never be a bad idea because of how much extra damage they can provide so I recommend holding on to them if you're unsure of what to mulligan but don't go hunting them out.
This deck is meant it be a more standard and less fast paced version of the Hunter Quest. While still keeping the completion of the quest in mind I removed some more zoo oriented options in favor of more control to handle threats the deck wouldn’t be able to normally until much to late in the game. It utilizes a small secret package to activate Hyena Alpha’s effect and runs a copy of Toxmonger to combo with your two one drops as well as the one drops you’ll gain from Halazzi. I opted to run one copy of Unleash the Beast over Savannah Highmane to both continue dealing with large threats as well as helping to keep hand advantage which the zoo build struggled with. Hand advantage is also why I run the two copys of Master’s Call. Besides that the rest of the setup is pretty standard for Quest Hunter and I hope anyone who see this likes it.
