Mulligans
General Mulligans
General game plan is to just have a nice starting discard curve, hopefully getting the quest online before turn 10. I think Jeklik is hands down the best card for any matchup, it provides a replenishable resource for your discard effects, thus "whiffing" on cards you actually don't want to discard more often.
Aggro Mulligans
With aggro, your goal is to just utilize the control aspect of this deck to keep the board generally clean. Diretroll, Fellhound and Jeklik definitely are a commanding start. The quest is still something I got for vs aggro because getting it online means 2 3/2s every turn to help secure the board state.
Control Mulligans
Not much of a surprise here, but try to complete the quest. The Succubus helps apply some early pressure and once the quest is online, its difficult for control to deal with an infinite swarm.
I’m in a constant state of testing with this deck because I absolutely love it. When you lose games because you discarded the wrong cards but not because you played poorly, it doesn’t feel so bad lmao. If a deck can be so powerful that it feels like it only loses to its own drawbacks I feel like there’s some massive potential there.
I’m not a high rank / legend player by any means, I more prefer the deck building and creativity of card games rather than playing Odd Paladin to legend every month ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
