For this Mulligan early game is key, however i added Shriek and Jeklik and clutchmother to the opening hand, for shriek it can control the board early on if you are going against super aggro. having Jeklik and Clutchmother give a since of safety to your hand for discarding.

either choose control or discard. ur gona discard ur control cards and then whats the point? make it more mid range to where u dont need to discard heavy cards. so take out guldan neithers, spell stones, void lords and most of the heavy stuff. try to aim for no drops over 6-7
Thank you for your feed back, in my opinion there isnt any reason to choose between the two, with the new discard feature late game cards are more protected in that if clutchmother is in my hand all discard effects will only target her, unless soulacrium is in hand, and even then using that first drawing three if some late game are discarded having it fuel the other late game card Lakkari is a positive. though i will look into having smaller cards over Gul’Dan Voidlords they are insane late game vs a heavy control deck would only be when they shine
Let me know your opinion on the recent change if you have time
Why Soularium? Essentially you’re control-lock, the amount of cards that you can draw into that are expensive and/or dead that turn (Guldan, Nether, Siphon and more) make it seem poor. Since you have double Doomgaurd and Voidlord why not run Manari? Or swap out another card and put double Mountain Giant? It also puts you closer to fatigue, without bolstering your hand size (drawing 3 being horrible in a control vs. control matchup). Even in a scenario where you are drawing only value cards, you would have to cast it before playing the Rastakhan’s Rumble trademark of discarding your lowest cost card, as it cost 1 mana, tied with Librarian.
thanks for the feed back, Soularium is a card that is tentative in this deck, its only real effect draw would be clutchmother or High Priestess, im not for the Double Mountain Giants as running that would directly contradict the discard aspect and risk those cards as possible discards, the manari is a good choice however the fact remains that holding the card till turn 5 and getting value from it all dictates what you also have in your hand, if you have strict late game and need to play say diretroll manari could be the smallest card on turn 3 and lose it early, soularium does discard three cards, but it forces Lakkari to proc quicker, and if the draw would be those two perfect draws itwould have a huge benefit. plus if you palm Soularium till late game, having the mana to play what you draw would effectly make it just a draw 3 discard say 1. ofc the issue with it costing so less is the new discard proc which would require it be played first, however again if its drawn early its not as good as if its drawn late. never want it in opening hand i would say then
