Hi, I’m fellow Shaman enthusiast, I’m playing since beta test. I’m usually playing near high legend, this month I was able to finish top-100.

Introducing my theorycraft shaman tempo/midrange deck that have very powerful early game, Shudderwock finisher and beast synergy.

You do want utilize EVIL Cable Rat and Weaponized Wasp, both of it appears to be beasts, so there is no reason not to include Untamed Beastmaster , which already have very good stats. Lifedrinker with quest or/and Shudderwock seems like good desision for finisher, it’s also have beast tag. The only beast that forced here are new cards Pit Crocolisk. It’s not so good on curve, but after quest completed it would be pyroblast damage and manacost +5-6 free body.

This deck is definition of midrange, inspired by beta shaman, totem golem shaman and even shaman, it tries to push enemy early, fight for board and utilize it’s battlecry power later. It have good plays on curve, it need some meta tuning after expansion release, for example it might require some silence or overload package instead of beast (thunderhead, 2 zapps, 2 lighting strikes), but overall it seems like decent deck already.

Really interesting deck, I’m going to give this a try. I’m curious why you’re running this with Walking Fountain? Wouldn’t Bog Slosher be a good addition to this deck? It’s a battlecry that will help you do another battlecry again (and again if the quest is completed).

Fontains are replacable for better early game, but they are too cool to be ignored without test. My thinking process was: “This midrange build without AOE (except sandstorm elemental) probably will be too slow against aggro, so we need late game bombs for it. While we have shudderwock value against control, we should put strong clear and heal cards, fontains provide both”. It’s probably better to put there Swampqueen and some early card like Quicksand Elemental for value trades, but I’m gonna test this list first.
