General Info:

This is a version of Big Recruit Warrior which is heavily inspired by Tharid’s theorycraft version. For a guide you can check his version out here: https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/boomship-recruit-warrior-deck-list-guide/

I’ve made a couple of my own replacements which I will mention here. I removed Omega Assembly since this card tends to be a bit clunky in your hand and usually doesn’t help you out much in the way of surviving the aggro-onslaught.

Instead I added one copy each of Iron Hide and Weapons Project, as these are armor-gain tools that help you control the early game by activating your Shield Slam and Reckless Flurry (and WP is also a weapon removal tech). My winrate against aggro-decks(mostly zoodecks) increased after this. I replaced Slam with Reckless Flurry for more boardclears, even though this deck packs a ton of it already… I just feel it helps me out in more situations.

If this deck had more mechs in it than what you get from Omega Assembly, then maybe Dr. Boom, Mad Genius would deserve a place here, but I think Scourgelord Garrosh is a much better fit. Sure, it doesn’t fill out the 7-mana slot and comes a turn later, but the hero-power is reliable and can activate Grommash Hellscream , kill off tokens and set up an Execute. Shadowmourne  will also often give you several board clears.

Also I usually like to have a big enough pool of minions to recruit from. You’ll see some lists running fewer/more, but I think 7 is an okay amount, especially when you also run Dead Man’s Hand to shuffle in extra copies. I like using Deathwing since it’s so easy to avoid the battlecry with the recruit mechanism and it’s a good target for The BoomshipRotface probably deserves a place in this deck, but I don’t have the dust for him at the moment.
